  1. Texting was on last. Night Our problem is we need more Gobs****s like you ..
  2. To be fair the racing was for the most part Close , Lewis Kerr was excellent. What has happened to Josh Auty ? What has happened to one of great talents ? Wilko is approaching Richard Hall Status ! Why Douglas cannot score The MPA ? He is the only rider in the league who can't. Coty Garcia available, although if I was Berwick I would take him back
  3. Bears could be Garrity Anderson Perks Wright Barker Ayre's Busch
  4. Bears on fire , only one 0 . Aaron Summers scored his lowest at Pm for ages, so Scunthorpe could have got a real hammering if Jason & Charles had ridden . Believe it or not there was some good Close racing.
  5. Just in case the referees upset you send an email here. neil@scbgb.co.uk.
  6. Do you have a referee you would like so that there are no decisions going against you ? Probably better tell Roy Clarke not to offend you as well.
  7. Agree about Steve Worrall, but he must get away from the Championship
  8. The whole GB performance is down to the league set up . We now have 2 leagues of virtually the same strength , riders DU /DD what do you expect . All of them last night ride in both leagues , be fair in the Championship the lower ends are a bit weaker therefore easy points for these riders. No matter what Messrs Pearson & Tatum may say we do not have a single GB rider competing in our leagues who is good enough to compete in th GP circus. We have to allow the top league to build sides with a higher limit. The DU/DD must stop. The only way to give the riders extra rides is to go back to 13 heats & bring back 2nd halves. After watching last night is it not clear that the reason our riders do not ride in the Polish top leagues is that they are not good enough. When Robert Lambert came on the scene he was touted as a potential world beater , be fair not in the same class as the young poles. Lebedevs was discarded by Kings Lynn , over the past week are there any Lynn riders who could match him Lastly well done to Chris Harris & Steve Worrall who at least competed.
  9. My prediction for the final is that team Gb will be last with less points than the USA. Poland to win , Russia second & Sweden third
  10. The council backing means nothing, Cleveland Park at Middlesbrough was under a covenant that the land could only be used for sporting use. That was until Tony Bliar funded a new college next to it . The covenant was then as much use as used Andrex
  11. I am 6 miles away & it is lashing down, still it is Thursday, always rains ⛈
  12. I believe Sheffield & Glasgow have already lost once at Scunthorpe I believe? The home defeats for Redcar are going to be costly in the final analysis
  13. Richie, Ritchie or some other prize names he has earned at Redcar , who cares
  14. Teams can come back, we at Redcar after 10 Years , Leicester,Birmingham. If a brownfield site could be found like ours , ex industrial land than there is a chance. Your council should know what to do, where to go. I fear that you will not return to Brandon or in the initial phase top level racing. Hope that something comes along for you soon.
  15. Nobody has been screwed by refs Eric more than Redcar, in the end you just have to get on with it even if you have been Vatchered, Regarding starts , as long as the tapes are not touched let them go if they have to pull back tough..
  16. Phone Neil Vatcher , he will help, send him a programme so he can mark it up
  17. At the moment there are 5 teams at the top :- GLASGOW - Favourites & going well. EDINBURGH - Home track advantage will keep them in the frame IPSWICH- Strong team, very good at home starting to pick up away points SHEFFIELD- Strong at home, very reliant on their no.1 REDCAR- Surprise package. Problem is that everyone rides their track well. Injuries not helped Of the remainder 2 teams who could come with a late run are :- NEWCASTLE- strong heat leaders & massive home track advantage PETERBOROUGH- Starting to get themselves together , will give any of the others a run My tips ? Glasgow,Edinburgh,Ipswich, Sheffield. Hope I am wrong , I would love to see Redcar do it .
  18. This is going to be a great meeting , lot depends on the guests . Reserves will be very important as both of Peterboroughs go well at STMSP
  19. Barker has been superb for team spirit, that's 3 four point away wins so far...
  20. You still have to win them, Scunthorpe beat Sheffield 2 weeks ago. We also have won twice at Scunthorpe where Glasgow have not won... Mind I would swap the 2 Scunthorpe wins for 2 @ Newcastle!!
  21. Another 4 points in the bag, that's the best away record in the league , how did we drop points at home to Workington? Peterborough on Thursday looks like being a cracker..
