  1. Maybe some good will come of this as when he signs for someone else Redcar will have priority!!!! Strangest decision in my opinion.
  2. I was hoping to travel but the forecast is terrible, not much better on Friday!!
  3. I would like to think we can get a point here but may be around 10 point win for Sheffield
  4. Watching on BT, track looks awful, reflects on the racing
  5. With Jason out for a month is there anyone we could bring in short term ?.
  6. Tough on Berwick with injuries , we have had a few as well . Once again our reserves were excellent, then again the whole team was . Hope it improves for Berwick.
  7. If he (Nick Morris) has concussion he is out for 1 week
  8. Why not just call Neil for a Vatchdecision ?
  9. 52-40 to Redcar, would have been more if Garrity had ridden. Riss was impressive, Masters good as usual Redcar reserves 10. Monarchs reserves 4. Good solid performance from Redcar , Barker excellent as was Jons Andersen, Apart from the top 2 Monarchs we're average. They could still have got a point with a 5-1 in Heat 15. Tremendous stuff from Barker & Jonas.
  10. The track will be spot on as always under the new promotion, Weather at the moment looks ok

  12. Given their home track advantage I was surprised that Newcastle did not sneak home last night. The RR for SW was giving plenty of strength. I do not watch them every week so I do not know where the actual weaknesses are. The most apparent one is the Reserves, Chopping & Changing for riders of the same ability will never be a recipe for success. Last Thursday I thought that Lindgren,Rose & Morris were as inconsistent as each other but at home they should be ok given as I have said the home track advantage. When Redcar go there I expect that we will lose , I hope we fight harder than Newcastle have on their 2 visits to Redcar. Newcastle in my opinion should be in the top league, the most enjoyable times I had watching speedway were when Newcastle were top division & we were in the Second, we got to see all the riders. Then of course we were not in the DU / DD era which is ruining the sport
  13. To be fair the programme seller at Redcar did tell me it was an insert , Does not make it right , just the insert would have done for me. As there was a collection ongoing thar could have been used as the bulk .
  14. Guests were excellent, big difference.. Redcar Reserves. 13+ 3 Newcastle Reserves - 1
  15. I hate to say it but I think the barcodes will win this
  16. How can you sell / explain the DU /DD rule or the use of guests ? If the riders cannot survive on 1 club then they need to get a second job. Which other sport allows a player to play for 2 teams or to use another teams rider , ? Injuries are part & parcel the sort , the promoters need to live with it . Supporters I am sure would rather back a local than a rider from another team. Not all guests give 100% The RR can stay but massive changes are required. The 1 lap dash is a good idea , maybe draw them so there is a bit of a change. Going the same way that we have for a number of years is going backwards. If riders want extra rides go back to 13 heats & a second half. This is always a good way to bring youngsters through. Has anyone worked out how the promotion/ relegation is going to work , impossible with the current dd/du
  17. How surprising a Newcastle fan glad to see Redcar lose the points....
  18. We will be happy to get anything here, btw who is the referee ?
  19. Following the postponement of Redcar v Peterborough Mr.Vatcher has called It 50-40 to Redcar with Chris Harris equalling the track record in heat 1. Is that how he confirmed the Glasgow 4 points ? The rules he exploited was meant for 2 leg matches. It would be nice for Mr. Chapman to explain this reasoning rather than leave to a man who is clearly a clown,
  20. Programme sent to Vatcher for filling in to decide the result
  21. The programme from today's abandoned meeting has been sent to Vatcher for filling in to decide the result.
