  10. Being Speedway there will be a way round it , not really bothered, not my team
  11. This is my view of positions Sheffield - VERY STRONG THROUGHOUT Newcastle - A SURPRISE PACKET Somerset - HEAT LEADERS & AFTER A FEW MEETINGS BWD Redcar - IF THE LOWER ORDER KICK IN Eastbourne - HOME ADVANTAGE IS HUGE Leicester - LOOK SOLID Glasgow - NOT AS STRONG AS PREVIOUS YEARS Berwick A LOT DEPENDS ON JAKOBSON & ETHERIDGE Scunthorpe- COULD PROVE PEOPLE WRONG Edinburgh - LACK OF TOP END POWER Birmingham - LACK OF HEATLEADERS
  12. Newcastle will be very difficult to beat at Redcar , 3 track specialists .
  13. JD has announced that the new sponsor is to be announced shortly & that there is continued support from at least 2 others. Good news in addition to the 2 prestigious events , looking forward to both of these already. I am looking forward as well to the battle to be No 1 between the 3 Heat leaders, my guess is Charles Wright
  14. Ben Barker looks like he has organised a great days Speedway for his testimonial, Redcar Workington Newcastle & A Middlesbrough team This means all Redcar riders are in , Deserves supporting, Put MARCH 23rd in your diaries
  15. Never understood why more poles are not signed by east anglian clubs , ready made extra fan base
  16. 1st Meeting is set for Saturday March 23rd - Ben Barker Testimonial. No football that weekend.
  17. Don’t rely on the ‘Used for Sports Covenant, that was in place at Cleveland Park, Middlesbrough
  18. Now that the Eastbourne team is announced I think they could be top 4 contenders. 3 good heat leaders & they will be very strong at home.
  19. Sheffield Somerset edinburgh Workington I think that my team Redcar will have a long tail unless Jordan Stewart ups his game by 100 %
  20. INTERESTING TIMES , DONT SEE ANYTHING IN THE PROPOSALS THAT WILL HELP THE MALAISE
  21. Re the heat 6 Barker incident, I thought that Ben came in underneath Tero who then tried to lean on him. The following incident was not nice to see & the referee made a brave call , if Ben had been excluded I would not have had an objection . I hope that Tero recovers quickly. I noted the comments of George English , funny how he approved of 2 similar incidents a few seasons ago involving Richie Worrall which left Redcar with injured riders
