This is a cracker. What has a meeting in the el got to do with anything. Who knows what they might have scored. Its like me saying richard scored two 18 point el paid maximums so he will score a max in every pl match! It also doesnae matter what both tracks have been like, at the weekend ours was perfect, Robert lambert equalled the track record in only his second ever ride. YET heonly scored a point after that. Who would have predicted that?

Just so everyone is clear and for those that cannae be bothered looking back at previos posts. The rule was changed from last year, Glasgow did nothing wrong, the ref applied the rule. The rule might be stupid, the rule may have been badly written like many of the rules. Glasgow got 4 points, Newcastle 3. We won on aggregate, our track brilliant, nrwcastles wasnt. Don't think I've missed anything 😃

Appreciate what you say, ifs and but. But if Fernando and ben hadn't crashed etc I'm sure we would have scored more. So there's ifs and buts on both sides

Thanks again for your concern about our team. But I'll say again in a play of situation we would have just knocked out a really good team. Ben may not be scoring what some people think he should but if he was someone else wouldn't and would they be getting stick. He's in our team just now as a second string but with his real average would be a heat leader in some teams!

Good to see fans of other teams taking a keen interest in tigers riders. Ben gets a new engine it blows up after 1 lap. Gets it back comes up to Glasgow to practice and it blows after 3 laps. Yea its all bens fault - get real!

The ref didn't interpret the rules he applied them. If other refs get it wrong then something should be done about it but would say football is an example where rules can be interpreted differently - offside handball etc. Have I mentioned what a brilliant match it was

The rule may be stupid but its there. Its not the only stupid rule and in the star buster chapman says they will simplify the rule book for next year. But as speedace said too much being said about this rather than the great days ENTERTAINMENT as well as the right result

Agreed!We need the fans today to be our 8th man. amazed to read the diamonds have had to cancel there bus. This will be a cracker and I'm really starting to worry about the result. Steve Worrall loves the place, lambert should do well and kus has had some brilliant meetings normally when he feels he's been at the end of some hard riding and he'll get that today. Lingren always has at least one good ride and Viktor, capable of being brilliant . SO we need our top 5 to be on it, no dodgy engines or tape breaking. in the end it could come down to the reserves which make me think we'll just win

When you have 4 big hitters in your team they can't all score big points in every meeting. based on the star's latest Top 20 averages Richard is at no 2, Richie at no 5, Aaron at 7 and ben at 17 with a cma of 8.27 By the way well done all seven riders for a professional performance tonight.

well no ones started a thread yet, probably all too busy getting ready for the big meeting at armadale tonight, so I'll give it a go. A few weeks ago Redcar were only 4 points down after heat 12 before we eventually ran out winners by 12 points. They welcome back wee lassie bjerre who was out injured when we last raced so that should strengthen them or weaken them depending which lassie turns up. Both bellego and Andersen appear to have hit some form so they could do better but then again we have the benefit of Richie riding, r/r last time. be good to see some team speedway again and hope the crowd is as big as last weeks semi. Whatever the result, we'll win no probs, it should be another entertaining afternoon.

Good to see that Edinburgh have managed to put on such an attractive fixture on the 20th. That would have been the day of the british semi-final at Glasgow until Edinburgh objected because they knew they would have a fixture on that night. Hope they get a big crowd.

even if we'd got a point tonight would have still thought we've no chance tomorrow and still do. Doesn't mean we are a bad team, we are a team that will reach the play-offs and that is what matters

Think you are right. Hope blobby and co keep talking down there team and monarchs fans decide not to come through. we saw what happens when there are only a few monarchs fans around in the league cup match, the monarchs riders didn't seem to give as much as you would have thought and we won easily

Well Berge let me down only got paid 14 . wasn't there but herd that aaron is waiting on some engines (?) so add 8 to his score and it would have ben a good effort from the boys.
