Glasgow V Redcar (ko Cup) 22 May 2016
SharpenRake posted a topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
well no ones started a thread yet, probably all too busy getting ready for the big meeting at armadale tonight, so I'll give it a go. A few weeks ago Redcar were only 4 points down after heat 12 before we eventually ran out winners by 12 points. They welcome back wee lassie bjerre who was out injured when we last raced so that should strengthen them or weaken them depending which lassie turns up. Both bellego and Andersen appear to have hit some form so they could do better but then again we have the benefit of Richie riding, r/r last time. be good to see some team speedway again and hope the crowd is as big as last weeks semi. Whatever the result, we'll win no probs, it should be another entertaining afternoon. -

even if we'd got a point tonight would have still thought we've no chance tomorrow and still do. Doesn't mean we are a bad team, we are a team that will reach the play-offs and that is what matters -
Think you are right. Hope blobby and co keep talking down there team and monarchs fans decide not to come through. we saw what happens when there are only a few monarchs fans around in the league cup match, the monarchs riders didn't seem to give as much as you would have thought and we won easily

Well Berge let me down only got paid 14 . wasn't there but herd that aaron is waiting on some engines (?) so add 8 to his score and it would have ben a good effort from the boys. -
Am not quite sure what you are saying they absolutely soaked the ttrack the day before and before the racing. it was a bit heavy on turns 3 and 4 but the times were fast and some races were competitive especially when they made the gate and the Summers pass was unbelievable

This WILL be our toughest meeting and no chance of a point. for those travelling think of it more as a pub crawl and just enjoy your selves -

I've resisted commenting on this so far as my recent attempts at forecasting our home matches have been rubbish. Just think berge will come back and bite us with a full max and if so we are dead and buried. Hope I'm wrong -

Well my forecast was a bit out. Have to say the reaction of the fans was good giving the team a great reception on the victory lap. Well done track staff, no dust problem just wish there was a quick way to replace punctured fence panels. -

Think this could be harder than some people think. if the track is grippy Scunthorpe - Auty, Douglas and Davies will give it a go. Still think the tigers will win. Just hope we can keep the dust down - dust in your beer, not good -

Let's look at this another way. Cookie needs more meetings and money. Why would he agree to sign if he was going to miss lots of meetings? -
Seriously you'll be saying next your 'friends' with The Scotsman
-
I'm a bit confused. On reading the article and Blobbys comment it appears Max is getting messages on his facebook page from someone he doesn't know and who doesn't attend the speedway anymore. Why o why is he a Friend?????????????? unfriend the bampot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! simples.

Mitchell's Visa - good name for a band 🎶 Nice bit of marketing there blobs. But perhaps you could have added tigers will probably not try to hard as they don't want to get injured and they also want to stop monarchs from trying to manipulate they're Average. Try that in your press release -
Feel sorry for cookie. All the keyboard pundits said he must ride in Poland otherwise he's got no ambition. Now he's got no money ☹

Seeing as a new thread been created am reposting, wouldn't want people to miss it Think tigers should look at the long term here and allow monarchs to hammer them. Would benefit Scottish speedway as more people would start to go to armadale once they saw they had beaten the speedway stars favourites and would help stop monarchs potentially manipulating there averages
