I've heard the 'story' off quite a reliable source so I wouldn't jump straight to say it was an excuse for getting beat by better teams as all of the berwick fans that was at the showground knew about it.

He's some man, agree woth what he says in that we are missing the Adrian and Michael factor of the club you cpuld add to that list people like Meldrum, now we only have Liam and Kev really. I'd like to think we will keep Dany, Kev, TJ and Liam for next year with possibly one of Theo and Matty and maybe bring Seb back but I think the track and the business aspect needs to change more than the riders.

Glad you enjoyed the trip and it's nice to hear compliments like that, Cookie was fantastic tonight, heats 13 and 15 was unreal for our track, normal for the speedway to get a bigger attendance than the football, a lot of people from Berwick go to Newcastle games and there isn't actually too many Berwick Rangers fans what so ever in the town. Congratulations on your teams win and on your 50/50 draw win. Scotch pie always nice and Morris was brilliant for you guys tonight and won you's the meeting. We're just far too inconsistant. Why on earth Christina Turnbull put the red lights on in heat 7, Ostergaard and Morris also a bit naughty with their elbows coming away from the tapes. Stachyra and Gappmaier falling whilst in points scoring positions wasn't good for us at all. Better from Doolan tonight though I fear a beating coming on from Somerset next week.

The more I think about it the more I think Berwick might actually do it, Holub was dreadful for Scunny here, Ash Morris average and I really can't remember Perry around the track nor Grondal although if one of them likes the place that could swing it.

having the league cup semi's and final as soon as the groups are finished and then having the first round of the ko cup out before the start of the league imo is the best way to go, it would mean that the league didn't start until may but you would have a home meeting every week from may until end of august with a ko cup quarter final week at the start of july and semi final week at the start of august with the ko cup final at the start of september and then the play offs through september and into october
