  1. taken from Sppedway GP website Russian racer Emil Sayfutdinov has insisted he wants to make an FIM Speedway Grand Prix comeback, but admits he has work to do first. The former world No.3 is still widely regarded as one of the sports top stars and spearheads Russias challenge in tonights Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off. Russia arrive in Manchester at full strength with brothers Grigorii and Artem Laguta in the pits and available for selection tonight. Sayfutdinov, who scored 18 points in Event 1 at Vojens on Saturday, will be a major threat to Denmark, Australia and USAs hopes of joining Great Britain, Poland and Sweden in tomorrows Final at the National Speedway Stadium. The Salavat-born star hasnt appeared in the individual World Championship since 2013. But another big performance in tonights Race Off will only strengthen calls for him to return, and Sayfutdinov insists hed still love to get back into the SGP big-time. He said: I want to do it and I want to be back. But I need to have everything around me and we will see. First of all, I need to keep winning and after the World Cup we will see. There are many things I need to organise. For sure, I need to get some new sponsors, but we will see. I dont want to speak yet because I dont know what the situation would be with wild cards. We will see.
  2. I also have never seen someone with a teardrop tattoo before yet have more than one braincell...maybe the place you live is a strong indication to the types of people you see and I certainly havn't seen any murderers with a teardrop tattoo in Berwick-upon-Tweed 😂
  3. I'm sure Dawid and Dany will let the Somerset boys give it a go. Shuttleworth may well score points imo, hope Matty's ok
  4. When did you move away Willowman? Did you see much Speedway at Berwick?
  5. The rest of his tattoos arn't hidden though? He has them on his hands and on his chin and has now went a step further and got one on his face.Surely gettin something like 'Dad' on his wrist would look better, I'm afraid he's going to look incredibly stupid once he gets to the age of 40 and onwards from then with all of the tattoos as well as the massive whole's in his ears I love Woffy as well this is just my personal opinion on his looks and has nothing to do with the typical 'he's an Aussie' 'he shouldn't ride for Team GB' I am a fan of him
  6. No thread so thought I would start one, unsure of somerset's guest at number 7 as Mountain has broke a bone in his back and Zac has broken fingers, don't think the guest will matter too much prediction is 62-31
  7. They just can't ride once they've signed into the WC so the practise of the first event that they are in hence why the Brits can ride today and tomorrow for their clubs
  8. Was everybody informed individually of the need to book a car parking space if disabled? If not then that is awful and if they did then there's nothing you can do
  9. good job Peterborough arn't here next week then Abaolutely awful, every time a Bandit made the gate he went to the fence on the second bend and got passed up the inside by laughing glasgow riders, easy points, what's Doolan playing at? Terrible performance and then does wheelie's in front of the Glasgow fans after heat 15, got passed by Bach when on the B/W, Stachyra was absolutely sh*** and despite Gappmaier not scoring a point made a much better account of himself due to TRYING, Stachyra tried to jump it in heat 3 then gave up at the back on lap 3 like a Polish Alex Edberg, lifted from the start in heat 5 and then went flying into bend 3 and fell off, was no where near Glasgow's RESERVE who has been injured for quite a while Nike Lunna in heat 9 and then nearly gave up a 1/4 of a lap lead to his team mate in heat 14. No wonder he wasn't getting meetings in Poland. I really hope he proves me wrong but WOW what a bad first impression, Well done to Liam on putting up a bit of fight and to the Glasgow team for being very good, also to all of the Glasgow fans who came down, looked a healthy crowd... until everyone started to leave. I predict 25 points at Somerset on Friday (if we're lucky)
  10. Race Off Aus Fricke Doyle Den Iversen Madsen Rus Emil Artem USA Hancock Fisher
  11. Every sport has fans that wear the colours of their club, I don't understand how it's bad, although I don't wear any myself anymore
  12. Never heard anyone mention 'sppedway attire' at Berwick or anywhere else, just jeans and a t shirt/shirt and maybe a hoodie/coat?
  13. Nobody knows when it was organised, Woffy doesn't have his bikes in the UK and wouldn't be in the UK himself so just cut it out
  14. Nope not allowed after heat 16, if a rider uses joker he's not allowed to in as a tac sub in a different race vice versa but you can do a tac sub and joker at the same time
  15. My favourite thing has to be an away win, what a feeling it is, I much prefer going to away meetings than home meetings just for the hope of pulling a win off
  16. Not as good as Berwick Vs Edinburgh challenge matches named Cock of the North or the Tyne Tees/Tyne Tweed/Tweed Tees trophys
  17. Jimmy Chang could be the Chinese champion...does that mean he's at the same level as Danny King? Janniero could hardly score a point at Fisher's testimonial at Edinburgh against PL reserves, what good is having Janniero in the team going to do them, they don't need experience so they may as well try and give a youngster experience, as they did with Ruml, I don't think they would lose any points
  18. He was also linked with Berwick before going to Worky as he rode in Ricky Ashworths meeting and done well
  19. YesI think so He wasn't getting meetings in Poland and the one's he was getting he wasn't getting paid for
  20. At least this was changed well in advance, our trip to Glasgow got pulled forward a week, 2 weeks before the meeting
