Surely it's every promoters job to put out a competitive team or they won't get the fans through the door. Yes it would be fantastic if there were enough british riders to spread out amongst the EL and PL but there aren't. Having 2 is a good start as has been said but where are the others coming from?

To be fair his first meeting back after serious injury and he's up against Nicholls, a flying Cookie and Zagar, can't expect too much in this one.

As a poole fan have to say Cook super unlucky there. First start was perfect from what I can see.

I hope you're right! If kyle and Adam were riding I'd feel a lot more confident to be honest but we'll see.

With 2 of the 4 heatleaders barely scoring currently and 2 of Pooles best performers potentially facing extended lay offs I don't think I'd necessarily agree with that. I can't see this Poole side winning many meetings on the road and even at home I can see a couple of defeats, including tomorrow. The big guns have to start scoring consistently but at the moment I can't see it happening any time soon. Hopefully I'm completely wrong 😊 Edited: Does this make me a numpty?!

Fair point. Trouble is as has been quoted already, delaying it further would risk his average dropping thereby making this switch impossible so I guess Ford's bitten the bullet and made the decision now, probably aware it wouldn't be hugely popular

Try reading Alan Jones posts, or are they invisible to you! Again I would point you in the direction of Alan Jones posts. These seem to imply that using Robson was permitted under the rules as they stood but the committee decided, probably correctly, that this was a silly rule and blocked it. That's how I read his posts anyway.
