Birmingham is being dragged down by Rogers, Shame really was I big name in World Speedway, Very sad.
-
Think you’re right but I suppose he does it for nothing
-
Is he now not riding in Sweden only Poland
-
If you seen C Harris article in this weeks S. Star ask yourself if he retired from Speedway what could he do? I would suggest not a lot
-
This is the same Mr Rogers that made an Official Statement that even if England qualify for the semi final of the World Cup Birmingham WOULD race on the same night, However 48 hours later made another Statement saying if they made the semi they WOULDN'T race, Its such a shame a club having its reputation tarnished by one person
-
Very interesting Statement on the Official Birmingham Website re the Buxton v Birmingham’s Fixture, Confirming that Lawrence Rogers was telling lies when he stated he had written Confirmation off the BSPA that Mr Flint Snr could ride in the meeting, hope he does the decent thing and resigns,

Anybody know what ex riders will be in attendance tonight -
How about back to the subject
-
So this topic is “NO NEWS FROM THE BSPA” Could I suggest that The Speedway Star asks the Chairman or Vice Chairman (Who is really running the Sport) for a in-depth interview on there views for the future of the Sport, If they refuse make it Public that they refuse, If that was the case it would say a lot about them, Over to you Phillip
-
Not quite correct Phillip each licensed track can have 3 Promoters but only a maximum of 2 can attend
-
As Nigel Pearson is the official Press Officer of the BSPA would not the SS call him for a Statement
-
Aren’t we lucky have Neil Watson on this forum clarifying things for us, many thanks Niel

The continuing decline of Speedway
Argos replied to wealdstone's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I was speaking to a ex rider from the 70s and he told me when you was summoned to Pall Mall he never slept for 2 nights before as he was so nervous, and it was always MR Brasher, Can you see that happening today with Vatcher, In comparison to the 70 and 80s the SCB today is toothless -
Is he still a Edinburgh asset
-
Also don’t forget if it wasn’t for him British Speedway would have had nothing off Sky. 80% of something is better than 100% of nothing
-
Can anyone tell me a Sport that Sky have got involved in that has not thrived other than Speedway,
-
As he is a GP rider though he could only ride for Workington in the Championship, as he was riding for them when he qualified
-
I agree, since he become Birmingham Promotor he try’s to sign a Polish Rider, States on the Birmingham forum that the Kent meeting will take place this Wednesday even if England are playing in the World Cup, then When England win he says the meeting will NOT take place, He is then proven to be a liar when he says he has written confirmation off the BSPA that old man Flint could ride, when in fact he never did. Would be very surprised if he had the support of the Masons after these disasters
