  1. It must be a concern all his years in the Sport and he’s won absolutely nothing, Think is fair to say he never got the Birmingham gig due to his previous success
  2. Today I was embarrassed to be a Birmingham supporter, The Track was not Perfect, but how many Tracks are ?, It was much better than Perry Barr was against Coventry earlier this Season, yet again rider power gets a Meeting called off, Speaking to a current Referee who was Present informed me what a disgrace that the meeting was called off, No rain, Perfect vision, this is another nail in the coffin of British Speedway, Mr Rogers and some of your riders hold your heads in shame, I say some as the 3 I spoke to were more than happy to ride.
  3. I see on the Birmingham Fans forum, Lawrence Rogers AKA Bossman is very good at answering Fans Questions ( pity other Promoters did the same) Apparently he has been in the Sport a long time, during this time what Trophies as he won and with what teams.
  4. Was there a Bulls meeting after the Kent meeting, if so as anyone got the scores please
  5. According to the BSPA rules every Licensed Track must have a minimum of 2 Promoters, Does anyone know who is Mr Hortons Co Promotor at Leicester/Coventry
  6. UK Martin is a very bitter man
  7. See someone by the name of Bilbo Baggins as posted on the Birminghambrummies web site that the semi final of the U 21 will take place at Birmingham next WEDNESDAY can anyone confirm this,
  8. Well that’s it then,Not the council fault, not the BSPA fault, pure and simple lack of experience of the Promoters of Birmingham, I always thought there was something amiss with this “Provisional” date, No wonder there Press Statement said “The Promotion will not be making any further comment on the matter”
  9. I’m told Birmingham’s historian Mr Buck Posts on this forum and he knows everything Birmingham can he please confirm that Birmimgham cannot Race on a Tuesday, as they have done in the past
  10. Another kick in the teeth for the NL, See Wolves are off tonight and the rearranged date is 16 July when Birmingham should have been there against Cradley, Wonder if the new Birmingham Promoters have agreed not to go on this Date, Cradley fans must be starting to worry now I would have thought
  11. Sounds good to me can they run on a Tuesday
  12. Having just seen the Birmingham Press Statement (not BSPA) It seems to me that Birmingham were asked by the BSPA if they could run the Final on a Tuesday as no other clubs run on that night, The new Promoters said yes, then realised there Planning would not allow this, that’s why it’s always been Provisional in the Birmingham Fixture list, Maybe it was a mistake to ask a new Promoter to stage such a meeting in there first season
  13. Sorry you are wrong it says “Provisional” that’s NOT a confirmed Fixture
  14. Yes, but on there Website it says TBA When ever it is it should be a very good meeting
  15. Any idea we he doesn’t do it now, a few years ago I bumped into him in the Bar under the main Grandstand he seemed very knowledgeable on his Speedway and very passionate on his Comets, if I remember correctly he was also very interested it pigeons, big loss for the club
  16. Anyone know when the final is.
  17. As it’s the 4th April and still no meetings at Wolverhampton will this mean that Cradley will have to run some of there meetings at Birmingham
  18. Last season Kean Dicken rode for Birmingham as they are NL team and can’t have Rider assets does that mean as he is now riding for BV he has become a BV rider asset, as I’m sure BV would not train up a rider for some other club, and if he is now a BV asset does Birmingham get a training fee, or a loan fee
  19. Is the local rag reporter a Mr Walsh ?
  20. No one forces a Speedway rider to ride, they do it because they enjoy riding a bike and getting payed for it, and believe me it’s much better than a 9 to 5 job, if they don’t think they don’t get paid enough, simple get a normal job
  21. i would have thought it’s not The BSPA that Licence Tracks But the SCB, could anyone confirm this,
  22. Having seen Kean Dicken last season having some after the meeting rides when he had recovered from is injury at Birmingham, and he was woeful, but maybe understandable, I thought a winter sorting himself out he would start to progress, having seen him at BV today unfortunately that’s not the case, he really did struggle
