We all know the NNS is the best in the country but even there you don't see passing in every race. If you think back to the world cup a few years ago the race off on the Friday was boring racing with very little passing, but you are right about shape and width.

Not sure that's right when they had the bigger wheels and grass tyres may have been true, but now they use speedway tyres so no different to solos ?

It was 2v jawa. All the riders did a ballet for engine's then fitted into there own bikes. If you look on YouTube it's on the isle of wight page. All the engine's where sealed

Why can't we run with the engine's they tried in the meeting that was run at the isle of wight? It would be cheaper for riders promoters ect. And the racing maybe better? What do people think?

That's true the same happened to Charles Wright think it was last season or season before and did not get paid in the end.

I personally don't give a dame about GP,s or other countries I'm more interested in this country and British speedway and if that's upsets people then so be it. But it's about time we put our speedway first. Let's hope we can all watch our beloved sport some time this year.

Well I say stuff the poles let's run our speedway the way it should be run . They will be running scared when there funding from the government runs dry, that will happen if the shut down goes on for much longer .

And WHY should it be only Poland? If that did happen it would be so wrong in so many ways

That's the big problem with polish speedway the money they give big riders signing on fee its stupid. Now with what's happening in the world. They will not have the money to giveaway? Will be interesting to see how the riders react.

I believe with the right person in charge Birmingham could go a long way, stadium, track are not to bad. I remember last season a week after buying a new car went to watch a meeting at Perry Bar , I left after heat 10 got back to my car to find it had changed from white to a red colour. On saying that I do think with good preparation Birmingham track can be up there with a lot of good tracks in this country

That's why I keep saying that Barry bishop is the right man to move speedway forwards he does have some brilliant ideas having worked with him last season, so passionat about the sport. The ideas he as are forward thinking. But I don't think he as the time with his job .

Think you will find bell vue are losing money more to do with what they have to pay out rent, security guards ect. That's why ther are trying to buy it lock stock and barrel of the council. If they could don't think the loss would be any where nearly like there are now if at all.

Like I've said in the past Birmingham are rubbish with their web site never really keep fans involved unlike eastbourne, redcar ect. Mind you with your team manager, promoter what do you expect?
