  1. What does MT own in relation to Peterborough Speedway ?. Probably F all.... If MT is putting all the money in, then i can't see why Buster wouldn't mind in general (apart from Holder). If i was Buster i wouldn't have Holder in any team of mine.
  2. Spot on. Ironically it was against his beloved Poole as well, with Lynn in front.
  3. I don't blame you tbh. He's well capable of his 7.16 average, if he can be bothered. His heart is with Poole it seems. Id deffo not give him any kind of guarantee.
  4. That seems the most logical regarding the kevlars if it's true. At no point has MT owned the club..... Yet
  5. Alcoholism is a problem that millions of people suffer from... As is anxiety and depression, which if i remember you suffer from.. I'm sure your comment will make him feel on top of the world if he is on here. Think before you post....
  6. I'm not on FB, Twitter ETC, but its good to hear. Looking forward to seeing the remaining riders that will line up for the Ben Fund meeting. It's great for the riders to shed a few cobwebs, and make some money for a great cause.
  7. The rumoured site is 27 acres i think i read on here. The only way i think it might work is if MT incorporates the speedway and his large auction venue on the same site. It will still cost a fair wedge, but the above would need to be there for the auction site, so it wouldn't be as costly as just using a field just for speedway.
  8. Yeah .His beloved Poole dumped him when the team building average changed and he was on over a 12. The ex world champ didn't want to ride the grippy track along with his mate Batch. All the "lesser" riders completed the meeting. Says it all imho.
  9. I edited it as you typed, but only added a bit.
  10. Pederson at £3.5k a meeting can't be miles away from what Holder would get. He must want around 250-300 a point i would of thought? And Holder is only interested in Poole really.
  11. Your right there Al. He doesn't appear to be the happiest chap, and isn't the most charismatic of characters by a long way, but as you say his heart is in the right place.
  12. There's a lot of slags over there it seems
  13. I think you do FB. It's because Poole have pulled off many questionable things over the years to benefit themselves. Including using a guest over the points limit against Lynn in the play off final in 2018. Yes it was allowed for some reason, although i've never known it before or since. As said by many Poole fans in the past have used the " anyone could of done it, Matts a cleaver bloke" kind of answer. It was just another loop hole found my Lemon and co. I don't agree with rest of huyderd's comment btw.
  14. That is true. But in this case i suspect MT has a good legal and finance team around him, that has helped him get to where he is today. A bloke on a market stall might not
  15. Agree. Guaranteed money for any rider isn't good.Let them ride for their money
  16. It looks like the Panthers have been brought, with time maybe not on TM's side to make it official.
  17. I won't be jealous. We have KK... But seriously, it will put bums on seats, even on your travels.
  18. Hope Poole fans don't see this. They are still allowed a thread in here for some reason
  19. He is on a 7ish at 7.16. I don't like him, but he is a bargain at that if he is committed.
  20. I see Ippo has got the the Bank Holiday home fixture. Must be a big day for the bangers boys.
  21. Yeah i had forgot that lol. But if you have to pay a 6 pointer £200 a point in his place that's £1200..So you could argue he's an extra £2300 per meeting. 209 fans @ £22 covers the extra home and away (£4600).... Could he pull in 209 extra fans than say Worrall? Possibly.
  22. 159 new fans at £22 = £3498. That sounds doable to me.
