You made a profit. Happy days

Gone with Wolves -4. Scotty went well there in the SW testimonial recently, and i think -4 is generous. I was thinking -8 myself. Also Masters over Klindt. I can see NK being the Stars best scorer, but i can't see him out scoring Masters at Monmore. Good luck.

I can see where your coming from there Baggy.
-
I guess it will depend on who's riding in the PCM at BV

They rode the track 4 hours before the start. It must of been ok. Here we go

Kings Lynn v Sheffield KO Cup - 30th March
Bald Bloke replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Your probably right there.. With nearly all clubs struggling, any flights, expenses, officials etc that have to be paid for a late call off are saved. It wouldn't take many late call offs to really hurt a clubs finances in this day and age. -
Well it wasn't Buster who had them made, if they were. Why would he. Holder will never ride in a Buster team. MT has some connection with Holder i read, so my guess is that he did the deal behind Busters back. Buster wouldn't agree a deal with Holder and waste £800 on kevlars, just to pi$$ him off. Wouldn't make sense.. No owner would have Holder back after giving him a job when Poole didn't want him. He let Buster down, his team mates, the fans down, ruined our season and made himself look silly in the process. I'd be looking at MT for the answer to the Holder/ Panthers thing myself He's been very quiet lately. Is he going to buy the club and re home it?, or stay just as a sponsor? If i was a Panthers fan i would be wanting a statement from Tomalin to confirm if he is going to back up his words, rather than some fans moaning at Buster after 1 meeting.
-
He will come back this time, but i think he is only an injury away that keeps him out of the saddle for a few weeks, for him to think whether it's worth it, given his age and injuries. As Lisa said i doubt his Polish club will like it either. I hope he's here for the season myself. Puts bums on seat, and we all need that..
-
Well people seem to be blaming Buster. He isn't perfect but he hasn't done nothing wrong imo. So yes when people try and put the blame on him i will back him on this one... MT was the one giving it the big un, and tried to undermine him imo. On NP, i always worry when an old (in age) rider comes back to the UK at the end of their career. Will he last a full season...Who knows.

I'm glad some people agree with me. I thought i was banging my head against a brick wall for a while there There is no way that Mr T didn't know that Holder was a no go from the start. One thing you can't do is try and undermine Buster. The only reason people are blaming Buster is because Tomalin has money and could be the future, and people don't want to pi$$ him off imho.. Talk is cheap as they say..
-
I agree with a lot of that. It appears that MT got excited pre season and seemed to think he could do the hiring and firing. The panthers fans were excited, and rightly so by what MT was saying . You had a bloke with plenty of money and the fans thought that he would buy the club and re locate it, ensuring the clubs future. He might come good on all he has said, and i hope he does. No one wants any club to close. If MT hadn't spouted off pre season, i think most of the fans would be happy with your team. Instead you have some fans moaning at 1 loss, to a good team and without your No1.Unless Tomlin is paying for the rent, wages, any signing on fees, all the other bills, then Buster has to cut his cloth accordingly. NP and NKI don't come cheap.
-
I doubt Buster will be begging anyone, especially Holder. Maybe time for MT to dig a bit deeper and buy the club fast. I don't think that's far out.
-
You've given me small TV syndrome now
-
Is that not how it should be. He owns it. If you had won that meeting, and it was your first meeting remember, then i suspect Worrall who is a 6 pointer wouldn't be getting stick for scoring 4 in his first meeting imho. Hans will probably be next as soon as he has a bad one
-
People are slagging him off after 1 meeting. They don't want much do they. Most was happy with the line up 1 meeting ago. Add to that their No1 binned it in HT 1
-
To be fair, their customer service seems good to me. They always keep people informed via email. Something that is neglected in speedway these days. I have already watched some free meetings from last season. If people took up BSN's deal who couldn't afford to got to a meeting, home or away, thats some income for the home clubs. I presume BSN pay a % to the home club.
-
Thanks. Absolutely spot on
-
Will you e covering another Lynn meeting in it's place
-
I think i paid £79 early bird price. Thats why i brought it. Hope they do another Stars home meeting in it's place. I agree Tel
-
Bummer. I was going to watch that one at home and save myself £65
-
The BSN one v Sheffield ?
-
I'll bite... You always get one, don't you
-
Blimey. I know it's not Poole's fault.
-
I hear what you are saying, but after his scores there last season ( i know you were bad), i think it's harsh of some to be jumping on him after 1 meeting, that's all. You might be right, we will see. You do need to look at earlier seasons i know that, but you need to consider the 22 season being his last as well. He might be a late bloomer
