I miss the banter and crowd noise of many years ago. Its very quiet compared to the local footy. The Son in Law asked if i wanted to go with him to a King's Lynn Town footy match for my first time a about 3 months ago. We stood with the noisy lot next to the away fans.. Only separated by a 3ft6 fence, about 10 feet and a few stewards. The "Banter" and some of Lynn's songs are ruthless... Even had coins flying about in the recent FA cup game. I've been to 6 now. The Boxing day game against local rivals Boston UTD should be a cracker.

Not a chance imo

Agree i've seen a few police on the back straight the odd time around 79 to 81. My mate got headbutted by an Ippo fan on the 3rd bend in the late 80's. That was back in the day when the crowds seemed generally a lot bigger and younger. It's very quiet now. The night when Alex gave away 100 air horns was a good night atmosphere wise, but they all disappeared by the next meeting sadly.

He would like to be
-
His first mane is Cecil. Matt is his second name.
-
He's nothing special. I might be miles off, but at a complete guess £150- £175 a point? Much more more than that i would class as dear. Or am i too tight

I don't know, but the posts that the boards at fixed to look like they might be iron. When Rew hit the fence it didn't move. If the posts are wood it's the strongest bit of 2x2 i've seen. The other rider seemed to of hit the fence in between the posts luckily.

That's correct. If my memory serves me right he rode the next day as a guest and i think he top scored. Rule No.1. Don't try and pull the wool over Busters eyes.

Decent value if you buy a programme anyway. A saving of a fiver a meeting That's over 2 meetings though. You only get 6 pints for £30 at the AFA. I enjoy the racing most weeks though
-
Think they have. But probably left loop holes elsewhere
-
Well they would do lol. Lawson is more than a gating tart, that some seem to think.
-
Thanks. TBH i hadn't worked it out. But at £79. If i stayed at home for the 2 Lynn home league meetings it would save me £44 entry, £20 lift, £60 -£80 beer. So at least £124, minus £20 for beer at home.. So £104 just for those 2 meetings. And would be happy to miss more home meetings for that kind of saving to watch others live. Would be a great Xmas present in these hard times.

Spent to much time in the Prem Lisa

Cheers. I'm up for that then. I'm a bit of a cave man lol. Great value.

Might be something to do with this....... -
Didn't he slag the track off last season?
-
Not bad as you get 13 free programmes, and are able to watch 3 races per meeting from the centre green which i think is usually a fiver. You can also buy a riders kevlars before the season starts for £300, have you name on them if you wish, and you get them at the end of the season. Not bad if thats your thing.
-
Whoever is at reserve, they will be as good as Worrall imo. I would take 2nd right now
-
Yes to the first one. The 2nd one......... I don't think we are relying on MPT. He said he can put a point on his 6.86 average, but if he does his average, i'd he happy. We have Freddie on a 5, he averaged over7 last season on old kit, but didn't do enough meetings to keep the 7+. So we have a good 2 points to come from him. Picko can do better than a 6.14 as well. Brady said after we agreed a deal for 23 every club in the league tried to get him to do a U turn. For me It's KK that we need to have a good one.
-
Still Buster. He is winding down a bit and taking a step back like he did in 22, with Dale and Alex doing the day to day stuff. Alex said the club is in good hands and will be for many years to come. Reading between the lines i think Brady will take the promotion over in the future.
