King's Lynn v Ipswich KO Cup SF 1st leg 02/06/25
Bald Bloke replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think your being optimistic there. But it's speedway, and anything can happen on the night.. I think Ippo.... Emil around 14, Eilis, King and Tom 24 ish between them, and the reserves about 5 ish. Stars... Kvech -3, Lawson -2, Klindt -1 Its hard to predict. Ashton could pop out the start in one of his rides though. But I'll go 47-43 -
Victor Palovaara ( super swede )
Bald Bloke replied to Youhave2minutes's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
BV have 3.55 to replace Zischke at this time if my maths are correct. Even if Palovaara was give an assed 5 in the Prem, as did Taresenko in both leagues, you would still be over the limit by 1.45. I think he needs to complete 4 H and 4 A meetings for a proper average. But as Taps said it will still be to high. -
Maybe you could help him.You seem to know your stuff😝

Agree. I mentioned a few months ago that spots psychologist might be the way to go. Great talent, but sorting his issue out is a must imho.

What’s he done?

His GSA was 7.76 when you signed him. He had a season in 24 affected by injury, and his GSA was dropping. in the 13 meetings he rode in, he actually only averaged 7.09. He's not far off of that now, and it's on the up.

My thinking is from 1/06, DT will be 5.06. Worrall will be 7.54 divided by 1.5 =5.02. -
Aces v Oxford 12pm bank Holiday Monday
Bald Bloke replied to AceBelle's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Always liked Magic from when he rode for the Stars as a 19 year old, back in the day, who averaged a respectable 6.13 back then in 2012. He's a far better rider than his 5.36 ave so far this season suggests, and is worse than last years 7.02. Not for me. -
Word on the street, is that a new state of the art sprinkler system is on order from Temu.

Doesn't mean much, but i was bored 😌 League meetings only... Bomber at 6... 7.31, Klindt at 6 .. 6.88. As i said, it don't mean much, but were not averaging bucket loads at reserve. The points look like a lot on the score sheet, but they are getting a lot of rides at 6 to hit those scores. I expect Kvech to match Bomber.

PLYMOUTH V POOLE, KO CUP 1ST LEG, SAT 24/05/25.
Bald Bloke replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not saying he didn't have a problem of some sort, But he rode in 121 races for Berwick and Lynn in 2024, with only 2 retirements. 2024 Rider Statistics – British Speedway Official Website -
The Stars will need to improve their away league form to get something here. Eyes on Bomber, NKI, and Kvech. I know some don't like stats, but ... We haven't got going away from home. NKI hasn't won a race in 18 rides. Away average so far 5.33 , Kvech has run 9 lasts in 21 rides ........................... 4.76 Bomber has 1 win and 6 lasts in 21 rides.................... 4.21 If my maths are correct. As a team, our riders have rode 120 times in 4 meetings ( 15 heats x2 riders ), with 14 ht wins, and 32 lasts, between the 7 riders. Probably to late now, but another must win.
