Peterborough V Ipswich 20th June
Bald Bloke replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Two things. The good rider that i was told for the Panthers don't fit as a swap for NKI. The other, the said rider's arrival might of been affected by Niels ruling ? I go a 2-4 point win for the Panthers -
Spud averaged 4.90 in his 19 meetings for you in 2019. His 2019 Prem GSA is 4.87 . His converted current Champ GSA is 4.02 if that was used. I'd only consider him if 2 riders come in, allowing for a decent other. I wouldn't bring him in as a straight swap for anyone imho.

I don't agree that Poland dictate to "their" riders where they can ride, but you can't blame the riders for doing it. It's a short career that can end at anytime. When you hear that a GP rider can earn as much for a point in Poland as a meeting in the UK (un confirmed), you can see why they don't kick up a fuss . Myself i don't follow/watch anything other than British speedway.

That bloke must have a big retirement fund
-
He's been steady, averaging 7.48 up to now.

Thanks Screm. If it is only to the end of July we would manage with guests and RR, at a push, but not ideal. If it's for the rest of the season we're in the brown stuff, unless we can magic a decent rider out of thin air. I wish Jack a speedy, and in the mean time we have a replacement coming in.

It was mentioned by someone somewhere on the forum. Id be shocked if it happened.

I just had a look... From Dale, “It’s a tough one for us at the moment, but we do believe and understand that this rule will be changed for next year." Next year . Time to get ruthless.. King's Lynn Pirates

I have just read it

With reports that Poland have put the stops on NKI riding over hear, if true Buster has a head scratcher.
-
After last season's disaster, i thought we might be able to do something this season. As it stands we're only 5 points ahead of the Panthers, who are bottom and due to strengthen..
-
If true that could make it interesting, with the Panthers in need as well.
-
At least people will see a bit of decent racing when it comes to Lynn
-
I thought not
-
Is the racing not up to much then Tel
-
I wonder if he realises he can't win it on his own
-
My maths. Sorry
-
That is correct. I even like the tractor racing at the AFA
-
There's 8.06 available for Ully, 8.04 for Hans and 7.87 for Scotty if there quick. Robert finished 2019 on 7.81..But if it ends up being Robert i'll pay your entry to a meeting at the AFA and buy you a pint
-
As of now Basso is 4.00 for another 4 days i believe. So if you were quick you have 1.64 points on top of any or your riders average riders average to bring you to 39.00 that you can go to. For a one rider change because i'd do that if i had the time as your second rider wont be much better than what you have. So for Ully on 6.62 you could fit a rider on 8.06, as a single change. Hans 6.64 ......... 8.04, and Scotty 6.23 ...... 7.87 .. The best of the 2 riders i was told finished his last British season on a knats cock over Scott + the 1.64. So if my maths and info are correct, and your quick, you could have 1 decent change Once Bens first GSA comes into effect it will need 2 to get riders out to fit him in.

That's what concerns me Arch.
-
I'm not panicking yet Scott, just a bit concerned that's all. I know he has had some ok scores. What concerns me is 3 heat wins in 29 starts so far this season, compared to 77 starts and 30 heat wins last season. If we aim for a play off place, and to do something if we get there, i think we will need more HT wins from Richard. Maybe he has been struggling with his starts all season so far ?, compared to last. Your obviously privy to more than us. But hope he finds the solution
-
Thanks for that. I wasn't sure when it came into effect. Maybe an announcement soon.
-
I'm big enough to own it mate. Some might think i made it up, but i don't do that. Ully was certainly riding for his place by the looks of it last night
-
TBH i wasn't told not to repeat it and i didn't ask if i could. But the way in he told me i got that impression, so have aired on the side of caution. This was Thursday, others might of heard the same now, i don't know.. But it isn't that hard. One is in the Champ, and if he came in on my maths would be at 6.The better one has ridden over here, but don't now. I know what it like being a Stars fan. I won't be doing yes/no to suggested riders, as it didn't go down well Thursday, so that's your lot i'm afraid
