  1. Another shocker from the Stars. Just looking at some stats from this season, including todays meeting. Richard and TJ both signed, and i have included Lewi as he has a year left on a 2 year deal. Lawson has been outstanding for us. Rides Home 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Rides Away 1st 2nd 3rd 4th Richard 41 19 15 5 2 36 11 12 8 4 TJ 39 13 10 11 3 32 6 9 10 5 Lewi 41 12 9 10 9 36 4 13 7 11 Richard Home 8.98 Away 7.22 TJ Home 7.18 Away 5.55 Lewi Home 6.24 Away 5.00 We are desperate for a Number 1 to back up Richard......Any thoughts ?
  2. He signed a 2 year deal, a year ago. So far it looks like Lawson TJ and Kerr. I'd have Mountain back as an RS rider. That could well be 4 back. What i don't want is a jobs for the boys team next season. 3 decent signings needed, one being a number 1.
  3. Please no. Sick of them. Stay where u are please
  4. We know it’s Kerr, Lawson and TJ. We don’ t know the points limit yet, or if there will be two R/S riders, although that might be put back a year. I can see Connor back and maybe Kasper,if it’s only 1 R/S rider, so it don’t seem to me there will be major changes. We must have a number 1 to help Richard out, otherwise I can see us struggling at home again next season.First priority is to win your home meetings. Then try and pick up a few points on the road.If we don’t get that number 1 we will be screwed again next season. I will soon loose interest if our line up is crap again….We deserve a strong team after this seasons shambles.
  5. Only in speedway . Was okay for Poole if i remember..... Buster agreed i heard that time to it. Would of been simple this time you would of thought as he would have to ask himself. Not chance, not tonight though. As if our fans haven't had enough all crap season, Cookie then pulls out ( hope he is ok).. Or not wanted £££. Can only see a big Panthers win now. Hope you see some good racing at least Hope Connor is ok.
  6. He's 39, could get a Rising Star slot..
  7. What was looking like the Stars could of had a good go at em, it's gone ** up now Cookie has more "problems", and Mountain missing.
  8. It's probably what we have at Lynn. It was noticeably more "stoney" at Lynn's last meeting, and Kelv mentioned it last night. Bit silly to change it now though.
  9. Not sure i'd want Kasper in the 1 to 5.
  10. That would make sense. Kelv mentioned it was "stoney" as well. I noticed the AFA was like that in our last home meeting.
  11. Kelv said it was clay based. Is that a new thing for your track, that Buster has done. Does Buster do your track, i suspect he might, but don't know.
  12. That will be the end for the Prem. You want to meet for a pint next season fella
  13. And was lucky that the fans stood by them this season. Don't expect the same again....
  14. No ex fan here Trees . Lawson, TJ, Kerr and mountain are mentioned. You can't be loyal to everyone other wise you will end up in the same boat again. We need to be more ruthless if we really want to try and win the league, not just when it goes ** up, but from the start. The fans have stuck by them this season. Give us something to shout about next season i say.
  15. Agree 100%. Otherwise it will be same old again. No just behind Richard. But would strengthen us up. I would take Cookie, but would rather a new face.
  16. 17 from our 4 middle order riders, looks poor on paper. But I wasn’t there.
  17. Bridger and aTy where thought to be on bargain averages this season Well done Connor with 13+2. TJ, Lewi, Erik and Ben with 17 between them, not good enough.
  18. Totally agree Baggy. I've been saying that all season, that Lynn has suffered since Buster bought P'boro. Pederson, Scotty, Bomber and Hans will not ride on the cheap. I can't see that Rob Lyon would of been happy with the Stars starting 7 if he was our TM at the start of this season. Maybe he had more input/voice than Peter did in building his team.. It certainly looks that way to me. Whoever built Lynn's team cocked it up, and compared to the Panthers team ,it looked like it was built on the cheap, irrespective of how the teams have done this season.
  19. Yeah, bit of a shame. He is still on 4.89 at the moment, but has averaged 6.59 so far for Sheffield (8 meetings). He sure likes the AFA though. 27 points here this season from 10 rides, for a 10.80 average over his 2 meeting here
  20. He said both clubs are for sale. And that he would carry on until the right buyer came along. That could take years, as most know there's not much if any profit from running a club in this day and age. I hope over time he might change his mind.
  21. Pickering would be his weight in gold if we could get him.
