Poor Kings's Lynn. Topped the league in 2018, only for injuries to stop them. Bottom 2 this season. Hope it works out for Buster over the 3 clubs with money over the head to heads, but Lynn will suffer. Don't look like Lynn is his priority in 2019
-
I know you only said rumours Trees, but he found the funding/money when he bought Ippo and Peterborough to the detriment of his beloved Lynn this season imho. I have nothing against the Lynn 1-7 as individual riders, but as a team they look very weak. Buster must know this. He ain't no mug. I think the Stars scored around 16 away points last season, the best in the league.. They will be lucky to notch up any with that team. Add that to I can't see many / any teams not coming away from the AFA without at least 1 point in 2019. I hope Lynn's crowd don't drop this season. Although Buster will probably benefit overall with all the head to heads of the 3 clubs, for me it's Lynn that will suffer. I hope it's in the short term

I think Lynn have suffered in the best interests of the sport this year, as the saying goes. Lets be honest, Lynn's team don't look very strong. You can't tell me that If Buster was running one team, that Lynn would look so weak, that's imho of course . You mention the Lynn's " die hard" fans, and your right, but how long will they stick around for. I'm not sure if Buster hasn't got something up his sleeve for later in the season. The Panthers team looks better and more expensive than Busters "beloved" Stars. I know all he probably thinks about is the 3 together as you say, the figures need to add up at the end of the season. But at a cost to the Lynn team / fans I fear. Hope i'm wrong. I think Ippo's crowd will be up this season. Peterborough will have the best crowds out of the 3 teams, with Lynn maybe staying the same or dropping a bit.

I think it's on par with Lynn. The Stars have Lambo, but Ippo's reserves look better. I'm hoping Danny and Lewis are ready in body and mind. Important for both teams. Looking forward to the battles and will be happy if the Stars get a home win, and not thrashed at Foxhall

Does look that way if you compare the teams
-
Lewis and Kasper to start I think.

If you had said he had a hand injury, if you knew, rather than "Isn't he injured at the moment" which sounds like a question to me, I wouldn't of posted the reply below
-
He was due back to the UK from New Zealand on the 24th to get ready for this season. He rode 2 meetings there and said he enjoyed them. No mention of injuries though. Maybe his bikes ain't ready ?

Report post Posted Friday at 05:35 PM (edited) Who are the *alleged* backers. Can you tell who they are. Not who you got it from Waytogo posted, and I asked who he was talking about. Whats wrong with that ?
-
You can't say that.. It's Chris Holder you know. Unless it was 2012
-
Hope your not suggesting...…..

Got it. But the under 16 blows it out of the water

Who has the strongest top 3 riders??
Bald Bloke replied to ZagarRacing's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Baring mind i'm on the last bit of a70cl bottle .So allow me some slack lads for a bit of fun... 4 or 5 rides will cross over all the time. so from 14 rides. top 3 riders by ave. Swindon Home 31 Away 26 P boro Home 28 Away 25 Wolves Home 28 Away 25 BV Home 29 Away 24 Would never rule Poole out of anything though. But gave up -
I might be wrong, but I thought you was a sponsor at Poole in some way ?
-
Free parking for disabled and blue badge holders wouldn't go a amiss. Poole seem to take the pee a bit. Under 16's free at Lynn as well and people are still moaning at a pound parking for 2019

I think the Stars where very unlucky in 2018. After over 50 years of trying to win the top division. They hauled themselves from bottom of the league, to winning it by 6 points. On the way they had the best away record in the league to boot. Only to Loose free scoring reserve MPT in that "iffy" decision at Poole in leg 1 of the play offs. Then before leg 2 lost NKI as well. Add for the first and last time Poole was allowed to use a guest rider. not Poole's fault, but the BSPA..….. Well you know the rest
-
I'm with you on that one.

I always use the industrial estate. Easier to get away after the meeting.. I don't think a pound is bad. Maybe make it free for disabled and blue badge holders, so they don't have to walk far.
-
I think it's Ty Proctor Edit.. Just checked and he was one of the riders mentioned. Dunno then

I can barely hold in my excitement Will it be Riss, Kerr or TJ next

those were the days, something to smile about.
Bald Bloke replied to hyderd's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
My best days at Lynn were when you could stand next to the fence, some days I would go early just to get next to the boards. I started in 72 at the age of 8.... 7 mile round walk with my Dad. We did it for years, getting chips on the way home from the chippy off of Saddlebow road. Big crowds back then. Later I think there was a single metal bar preventing you from getting to the boards, That we used to walk over, then a wooden one, then a big wire one. -
You know what he meant.

I think it said 2022? With respect if the new stadium isn't up and running by then, it may well not matter
