  1. To be fair, is it 20 years at Poole, something like that anyway. He probably does have a few bob, and a guest house( or whatever he owns) in Dorset must be worth a good bit. Like the bloke or not, I don't think there are many out there who would say 20 years service don't deserve something, if it is that long?. A good gesture, like you mention would be great. But what he does with it is up to him.. He might want to expand his business, set a family member up in business etc.
  2. Really? https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/manchester-united/attendances
  3. If Hans had scored 8 or 9, the score line would of looked much better.. Looks like he had one to forget. I thought Poole were gonna smash Lynn tonight, but …...
  4. I thought it was going to be a big Poole win. Glad to be wrong also. Looks like Robert has found his problem, I hope. All 7 riders chipped in ,and pleased to see Kasper picking up points, including a heat win. How did the crowd look size wise, not the look on their faces
  5. It's 8.05. Has this started yet. Scrap that. Just seen HT 1 has been run.
  6. Harris, Cook and Hans in the same team . Harris and Cook are known for wanting big money for their average...Buster has paid NKI for years, along with Lambert, in the same team. He can't be that bad. If Cook agreed on the kevlars like the other 20 Buster riders, it would be all good in the Panthers camp..
  7. Yeah about as vulnerable as Anthony Joshua would be fighting Louie Spence
  8. I guess time will tell. It was a good job our 6 point rider Erik Riss scored 11 and won 3 races out of Lynns 4 race wins, otherwise it would be worse. As for most of the riders scored well, we had Lambo 4 from 4 rides Ty 5 from 4 rides, from a 6.67 av rider, and at home. Lewis 4 from 4 rides... has a 5.36 average Kasper 0 on an assessed 4 I know it's early days and it seems harsh at this stage of the season, but just replying to your comment that most of the side scored well. Theres 4 there that you could argue didn't
  9. I wasn't there, but the speedway update site shows that Erik did his job and then some, TJ was solid and did his job, but Lewis score of 4 from 4 rides don't look good on paper..But as I said I wasn't there. It is early days and I think Lewis will need more meetings under his belt after that long lay off.
  10. I knew that months ago. But was deemed negative. Simon Lambert for Kasper would free up 1 point . Hans, Harris, Morris, Kenny for Ty might of made the difference. I'm not picking on Ty. Auty and S. Lambert at reserve would allow Kenny, Morris for TJ I think as well as Ty.( off the top of my head) You either want to compete or win it.Pretty sure if Buster didn't buy another 2 clubs Lynn would have a stronger team
  11. Its early yet, but I was another one that thought the team was weak. Buster is no mug, and knows a good side.. Seems to me Lynn got pushed to the side after he bought 2 more clubs. No back up for Lambo and a reserve who averaged 2.55 on a 4.00.. I was at P&P and Kasper looked very tense on the bike, and didn't seem to keen to go out. He looked so timid in the pits. I know it's early, but it don't need a good speedway brain to see Lynn could be in trouble before the season started.
  12. I didn't go. I pick my meetings, and i'm not parting with my cash until things improve.
  13. Well done Poole. I expect a good 20 point win at your gaff. Lambo has problems !! Must be bikes, but from his 2 meetings so far as averaged 2.66.That will turn around.. Erik and TJ did well tonight, but for me the Stars have problems, already.. I don't like to beat the drum so early, but there is no back up for Robert. Ok Erik scored well as I said he would, but you can't expect a 6 point rider to do it week in week out. Even if Lambo had scored more, Lynn are at home and would of struggled. They were the best away team last season, I think it was 16 points! I feel Lynn has suffered due to Buster saving the league for another year. I can't see the current Lynn side getting a point away and will get beat or run close at home. It seems like Busters " We want to build on 2018 and go 1 step better" went out of the window, after he bought 2 more clubs.
  14. I would of thought he could use last years bikes, or the year before and score a whole lot more than he is up until now.
