  1. Who granted them.. I thought Ford was going to fly in for home meetings.Looks like take the big crowds money, and keep the riders happy ,if Skidder is to be believed.. Something wrong here. Poole is a money maker for Ford. He has done a good job over the years ,because it has always been his interests. Now it might be not.
  2. Got to agree on soaking the base. On a hot day and a morning meeting, the track needed watering very early. Maybe preparing the track the night before, and starting to gradually water the track from as early 5 am to allow the base to absorb/ hold in some moisture, that's if its possible at Poole. I don't know about the access situation. Agree about the track being prepared for the crowd to a certain degree Baggy, but I think the riders should have some input as well. Saying that, the track was not acceptable at all in that state. Even if the riders asked for it .How many riders like riding in those conditions ? Not fair to all the customers paying their hard earned , and dangerous to the riders as well I would of thought. I'm sure I read that by a Poole fan that Klindt pulled up in one race because he couldn't see.
  3. Blimey, it was bad .Things might be tight, but that's silly and dangerous. They must be on a water meter.. Maybe someone should open a Go Fund Me page so they can fill the bowser up.
  4. After reading that I feared for the meeting being completed, but it seems it went well. Great to hear. And a good crowd to boot.
  5. 13 from 5 away from a 7 point rider is bloody excellent I know you mean he didn't bottle it, but he deserves a bit more credit than that imho.
  6. The Robins have low scoring reserve because of the strong top 5 4
  7. Cook can't ride for any of Busters teams. Same rule for all 21 riders. Cook said he would drop he's sponsors if Buster made up the short fall.. Loyal bloke
  8. Your man SS says he can There must be a stern guide line. Otherwise a tenner could be costly for points come the play offs. If a rider can get there surely he should. If he can get there but it costs £100 - £200 more by other means then he should? It's not a case of if he can but it costs more. It's if he can he should be surely?
  9. So for the sake of £70 he can't make it. My van is a 1.6 diesel I can do it, but if it was a 2.5 petrol it's to dear, so use RR
  10. May well be, but with the new track it's a bit of a lottery, betting wise for me anyway. On last years track, i'd go 50-40. If all the Robins have had a skid, I would agree. If not, It might well be closer. Rooting for Swindon though.
  11. Kasper has scored 3....4....5, and 1 so far for Sheffield as far as I can see. That's riding at number 3.
  12. Nice to see a new boy coming over and going well, as long it ain't against Lynn
  13. I would think Lynn's as they had something going on there his afternoon when I drove past, wasn't bangers, probably flat trackers.
  14. I've seen Lynn advertised on TV a few times ( for speedway), many years ago. I'm going back a while though. I was probably a teenager, i'm 55 now On another note, I see Lewis scored 11 from 4 yesterday for Eastie against Somerset
