Luck and injuries aside, it's speedway and things like that happen I guess. It's the Morris bit that gets me. A rule that's probably been in place and followed for I don't know 10 or 20 years maybe can be ignored once for 1 team in the most important meeting of the year is just wrong.. and should not of been allowed to happen... Lynn v Poole...The Pirates have 1 rider out and are allowed Morris 6.91 for Kurtz 6.75. Lynn v Somerset cup final....Rebels have 4 riders out . They use C. Wright for BWD at home, but can't use him in the 2nd leg because he don't fit.. BWD 5.22 and Wright 5.27.. I know 2 wrongs don't make a right, but what a shower of rubbish the powers that be are..

Agree. The rest looked ok.

You can't have NKI, Wright or Covatti…. I have them in my Lynn 2019 line up Just for a bit of fun. I doubt the averages will be the same. Lambo 9.31 Riss 6.08 C. Wright 5.27( Somerset probably) R. Worrall 5.81 NKI 7.36 N .Covatti 4.70 S. Neilsen 3.67 42.49

I remember Mel Taylor had tassels. John Davis was another colourful chap in his pink and white kit.

Is This The Worse Team Ever To Win The League?
Bald Bloke replied to IainB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Points money all the way through the team imho. More to " better" riders, but pay as you earn all the way.. -
Nice little compact stadium. Needs a better track, but you don't have much room. Mind you there ain't as much passing these days, anywhere. BV excluded. Your track is listed as 317 m. So you would have to go smaller.. Maybe take 25m off of the inside of the bends and bank it to the max allowed (can't remember how much) making it 292m Remember Coventry was only 301m and didn't ride like a small track.

My fear would be that Lewis may have had a crash to many. I hope i'm wrong. I also think that a stronger reserve is needed. Stefan or Kasper, but not both.

At the end of the day Morris shouldn't of rode for Poole in leg 2.. It don't matter IF both teams agreed to it or not, it shouldn't of been allowed to happen. It's as simple as that. . How long has the average rule for guests been in place.... 10 years, 15 or 20 years I don't know, but it's a very long time.... Has the rule ever been changed for 1 meeting and changed back as soon as the meeting had finished ?? I would guess NEVER !!…. Will it ever happen again.... Probably not. Should it have been allowed to happen.... NO! Anyone saying it was ok to allow are either liars, on a wind up, or deluded imho.. A long standing rule should NEVER be changed for 2 hours, then immediately changed back to help one team. Lynn's booking of Ellis was LEGAL at the time... Ford and Middlo went bonkers and the rule was changed in the interests of Poole the sport. Somerset were severely depleted for the meeting at Lynn in the cup leg 2 and they wasn't allowed to use Wright for the 2nd leg at Lynn because he didn't fit, he would of done with the +5% Poole was allowed for Morris.... How can this be right ?? Not interested Blue Tint replys, unless they are sensible

Along with Kurtz... Less than a point away from being a Poole reserve ! -
If the Prem survives, i'd have Lambo back, no probs. He's a crowd pleaser and on the up. Riss is great at Lynn, less so away, having said that, he's on the up as well imho. If you look at T.J 6.29, Ty on 6.57, and Riss on 6.08, i'd take Erik. For me, and it might sound harsh, but TJ and Ty have hit their level, and on a higher average as well as not being as strong as Riss at home.. I might be in "Poole" mode tonight, but that's my view

If that was the case, there must be a lot of riders who took hefty pay cuts since the Sky money stopped ! -
Somerset v King's Lynn KO Cup final 1st leg 17/10/18
Bald Bloke replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Maybe not.. If the £3k live meeting thing is indeed true. I doubt it covers the loss on the gate. But it is a way of getting speedway out there I guess. It was said that Sky money was pretty big, but it didn't seem to do much. I don't know where all the money went ? -
