  1. First one on board for 2018.Thomas Jorgensen.. Great to see him back.He deserved it.
  2. Agree with that. But think if, and it's a big if,Swindon couldn't fit him in for 2018 i'm sure they would try for 2019...8.87 is pretty high if his heart is with Swindon and he only rode elsewhere for a season.
  3. Pretty sure I read that Swindon were ok for 2018 at the old Abbey.I could be wrong though
  4. I want 7 riders who want to ride for King's Lynn in 2018. I would rather have Lambo on 7.38 than Morris on 8.87 if I had to choose between them.
  5. The above may well be true, but that shouldn't be a reason for him slag British speedway off the way he does. And theres "That night"...He didn't seem to worry about the fans or his team..I think he's ok on his average and might up it a point, but i'd only take him if i was a win at all costs promoter
  6. KL 2018 has turned out to where there's a blame there's a claim.
  7. It's a bit of a puzzle, all this fitting riders in as you know. And we all know Matt can be ruthless.
  8. To early. We don't know the points limit.Depending on what Matt's doing behind the scenes your team might be miles out.I don't know the aves but i'd rather MPT if he would fit if he was on the same ave as J Holder.Long time to go yet.We shall see...
  9. Oi..Leave him alone.. ..I would imagine there are several clubs after him, monies allowing.
  10. Blimey, that was good of him..Not giving someone a lift in case they sue you.Whatever next.I suppose it's the way of the world these days. Blames and claims and all that.
  11. They can't follow suit. Not enough fans to pay much more than half of the teams wages without sponsors is the problem.Better for teams to cut costs(riders wage bill) than to go all guns blazing and go bust.
  12. No chance of that unless a big sponsor is found.Even if the money was there it would be wasting it imho....I don't think Vaculik would be a great number one either, and the most expensive 7/8 point rider in the league maybe..
  13. If Vaculik is heading Lynn's way and if it will be on a 9,then i'd rather NKI for the same money.Vaculik could end up a 7/8 point rider in his first season, and potenitally an expensive one at that..
  14. Great for you guys.Should help with crowds in iffy weather .
  15. Thanks JC.Hodgy, maybe a place for some 6+ average riders if theres not enough riders, but on the same money as a 5.99 rider,as long as in the team's point limit.
  16. Theres so many different deals. Each rider has different deals. Some of the top riders are on a fixed wage,no matter what they score. Some might be on £500 plus £100 a point.Others could be on £300 plus £100 a point.Reserves might be on £300 plus £50 a point. Who knows
  17. If true i'm not surprised.Must be a millionaire at 48
  18. If you don't touch the tapes,it's a good start.And sign James Sarjeant on a 2.50 for 2018
  19. That's good for you.Imagine Batch and the Holder bro's in the same team
  20. I dont think Greg on a 8.77 would be great signing.Ok ,but that's it imho.He can't be short of a few quid, and i would wonder how much he would give/be motivated for a few grand a meeting at this stage in his career. I doubt if he would add to the 8.77 if he came in on that..Doyle and Freddie averaged around 9.70 and 9.20 (without checking). So would be tough for Greg to top any of those two.
  21. I did wonder, because he flew at Poole the night before, and it was said that he got a good reception. He deffo showed Ford what he can do,then the next night he wasn't interested... If he rides for Poole next season and the track is how it was "that night" at Lynn again,i wonder how many people would put money on him refusing to ride for Ford...Not many would be my guess.
