  1. Good idea.I don't know if the rear tyres would grip on the metal gate and cause them to rear up.They would have to be able to be taken up for blading the track ect,but be solid so they don't move on the start., i would have thought. Deffo worth someone looking into it though
  2. Shale has been done.I don't think it will make much difference myself..I see what your saying about making it deeper and telling the riders to deal with it of do one ,but I guess Buster is giving them what they ask for(might be wrong). I agree entertainment has to be high up on the list, but having a happy camp of riders is needed as well. Keep it as it is(the dirt) and make the track shorter and a lot wider might even it up between the riders( bit slower racing,so not needing max horsepower) or as you say, chuck more dirt on and let them get on with it.
  3. I might be way off here, but could it be that Lynn is fast with longish straights, and with the bike's engines always changing and need to be revving hard that has made Lynn not the exciting track it used to be. A lot of riders(more so their bikes) don't like lots of dirt anymore.Something that Lynn had back in the day when the engines were less peaky. Would be nice to get a riders point of view but maybe take the curbs in and make the track shorter but a lot wider and have the maximum banking allowed(10% I think). Any ex riders that can give there opinion.
  4. I don't know but was this evenings track been ridden by most of the line up.Just wondered
  5. But why whinge about the tractors on the new big screen. They would be there with no screen. It must be an improvement,is it not
  6. 4 Teams closely matched on the night and really wanting it.Swap the meetings around and you would get similar.
  7. Was a great performance. When he was at Lynn I remember Rob asked him once to do (I think it was HT15) He wasn't happy and pulled a face. He's only any good if HE wants to ride here and brings good motors.
  8. Great meeting.Bit of a shocker...Really enjoyed it.Lebedevs lost me money, but he did great. Russian reserve Chugunov at 17 did his self proud.
  9. In general the top 3 take 14 rides. And 10 from 5 is an 8 point ave.I would say your upper end is right.Thats 30(32 ish at home) from the big hitters.Huck and Jorgensen 10 away,12 at home.Sounds easy. But like you say,the click never comes :-(
  10. Heard that one before about KK by some of the Poole fans.Would'nt be for me.
  11. Paul Starke (G) - 3, 1', 0, 0, 1' = 5+2 Kurtz (G) - 3, 2, 0, 0 = 5 Tailed off alarmingly i'd say I'd go around 20 between them in their next meeting.
  12. Good points for the Robins tonight.Did'nt see that coming myself. Wasn't there, but Masters and to a lesser extent King seemed poor. Freddie scored a bit less than I expected. Swindons reserves racked up a few points. Batch did his job. Bad night for the 2 Poole guests imo.Kurtz had 5 from 2,ended 5 from 4.Starke had 4 from 2,ended 5 from 5.Ok for the Poole averages I guess.
  13. I agree.Cook is improving ,which is great but can't see him doing well in the GP's.Around Bombers standard I think. Any rider that qualifies deserves to be there inmho.
  14. I think he will, but up to now but being loyal to Lynn. With all his merchandise he sells on FB he is looking to get money in,no doubt. Think he may be on his way next season.
  15. Seems like they want to take the money with minimum outlay.
  16. I'm sure he wasn't nasty. And i'm as gutted as any Poole fan what happened to him,and wish him all the best in the future. But as a pro sportsman he fell short
  17. I always wonder that Buster could sell his land for £millions I guess.Whats is he now 50 ish.How much does he want it
  18. 7 miles from track.Rain for the last 20 odd hours.Stopped 4 hours ago,But we've had heavy rain for 16 hours and lighter for the rest of the 8 hours.Flooded here in places.Saw fireman pumping out a street near the town today..Hope Buster saw this coming and did what was needed.Scrapped the shale off and covered it up.
  19. He says he has.Whos is telling porkies ? News about wrist it's broken where it was broken 2 years ago but I'm getting phisio today on my neck and wrist to try and get movement then make a decision when I can start to race again. I need to be fit for the World Cup.
  20. Taken from Lambo's Facebook. Robert is on his way to Sweden to ride in Kumla for Masarna. His shoulder and neck is hurting. He can turn the wrist fine but it hurts him when he moves it up. Further he was not able to get physio on it yesterday as they haven't had a space so he went straight from Newcastle to the airport. Further information will follow after the meeting.
  21. I would'nt call it a moto cross track,as some do, but it has a wavy thing about it from what i see tonight.
