  1. He did at Lynn. Not Peterborough as far as I know.
  2. I was going to say, maybe we should raid them for a few of their riders for next season. But Picko came to us on 7.38. And Lewis left us on 4.50 (7.11 this season). So who knows
  3. Yep. As you say, it would put us 1.04 over at the moment, if we swapped back. But we are home to BV and Leicester, and away at BV and Wolves this month, so plenty of time for our team averages to drop. On the other hand Kye could go wel,. and as you say it'll TJ or Klindt that might be looking over their shoulder. If Picko does come back in i hope they wait until is fully fit, because he didn't start the season to well, he only averaged 4.36 in the 3 meetings before his injury.
  4. I wouldn't the surprised if there wasn't another one, if Thursday's meeting don't go well.
  5. Yep, Kye will be glad he get the first one out of the way. Last week Alex had the track prepared as 6 of the riders had asked for, so 'm not sure what we will get Thursday.
  6. Thanks. Alex is pretty new to all of this, and is learning on the job, as they say. He certainly wants the Stars to be successful, and is putting his money where his mouth, as the saying goes. This season isn't working out, so far. As you know we have replaced KK with a world class rider in Laguta, which is great. But he has no one to back him up.. We were built to be a solid team, with a very strong reserve. All our middle order riders needed to have a good season for it to have worked out., but so far they have been pretty poor.
  7. It's the second tough home test for the Stars in a row at this Thursday. Considering it was his first time on track, Artem did OK in his first meeting last week against Holder, Toby, and Co. This week he isn't going to get it any easier with Bewley and Kurtz in town. But I'm confident he will put up a great show, now he has had a meeting under his belt. But he will need plenty of support from his team mates, unlike last time out, if the Stars are going to get anything from this meeting. Dan and Brady are enough, but then you've got Wright who is averaging 8.60 away from the NSS so far this season, and Lidsey who is going well, not forgetting Blodorn at reserve. Time for Messrs, TJ, Nicolai, Freddy, and MPT to step up to the plate and give Artem some much needed support come Thursday. Thoughts, predictions anyone ?
  8. Ippo's team average is 38.30. That's without the BV match last night. So not easy once Emil's ave takes effect.
  9. Now the sponsor money has apparently been paid, i can see Zagar heading your way. I think he might be the cheaper of the 2 mentioned.
  10. Wright -2 over Rew, odds hove been slashed from 1.75 to 1.66. I got on it still @1.66. Best bet tonight i think. Main bet And Emil over 12 plus ex. Gambling on him having 6 rides. I can see Ippo's middle order struggling tonight.
  11. Zagar 7.20 Dudek 8.00 Russian 5.00 Tungate 6.61? Basso 6.09 NKI 6.77 Cook 5.41 37.08 or 37.88 with Dudek Would still leave you with points to play with. Ideally take NKI out for Dudek, i know, i know ... but it would make a decent team
  12. It's not quiet the same for Toby. It's hard to compare the two. He missed a few years over here, but he finished 2019 on 6.21 and is currently on 8.24. So is deffo on the up. He's a real trier, and i'd welcome him at Lynn
  13. Richard came on a 5.64 and left us after 2 seasons on 7.71. He could well be the most improved rider in the league over those 2 seasons.
  14. How do you account for his form at Lynn this season. Is it not we are crap.
  15. I swear at it, any refuse to feed it sometimes
  16. Just watching the meeting back. Freddie said in the interview before the meeting.. "People keep slagging us off for not winning to much. But if we win tonight and the next one we are back in the mix" it did go a little further, but nothing much. Some do look at social media it seems.
  17. Your not doing it for a bite though. Your peed off because people are laughing at you..
  18. I agree he did. But from a 5 pointer, he looked like he had a 650 out there. He's never been like that in all his years at Lynn. Some of that must be down to how poor Lynn was.
  19. It's been over 10 years since we dominated the 2nd tier. I'd imagine the bikes are more powerful now, with the power higher up in the rev range, possibly making it even harder to ride a grippy track these days. Plus we don't know if the shale has changed to a degree (different supplier maybe). The starts are so important here as we all know. Just look at the previous meeting against Boro. We trapped and did the same to them as Sheffield did to us. Ideally we need a change of shale, but we ain't getting that with the bangers in town. I very much doubt if its practical to have 2 types of shale, but that would mean re laying the track before and after every banger meeting.. With good access to the track, i'd have them practicing to try and sharpen them up a bit.. We need to do something. It's easy enough to see where our problems lie, apart from the track.. TJ starting av 6.35, up unitil now 5.14 (away 3.47) Klindt ... 7.39 .. now so far 5.00 (away 4.75) Freddie 5.14 but we know it was a 7 now on 5.41 And Josh was struggling in his 3 meetings before his injury 6.14 to 4.36 . I know it's only 3 meetings, but it shows how badly we have started as a team this season. I'm not saying replace them all , just highlighting the problem we have to try and solve..
