I've only seen Drabik the once, in that u-21 meeting, and he looked insanely good
-
They're still both very good riders, but so is Robert... This is the most truthful thing I have seen about Robert on this thread... Chris Harris can't gate either, neither can Woffinden, is it something British? He said this to a female, haha, not that I'm particularly offended or care, just pointing that out...
-
Maybe he likes his mum being there, no different to having your Dad there, which many riders do, just my opinion
-
Bartosz Smektala and Dominik Kubera are no slouches... I like you post other than the Mum bit, I have no opinion, never met her, never seen her, bit of a low blow, but oh well

It's not exactly an old average though... It was only last year, Musielak's average was older... Thomas H Jonasson's was a lot older... I think it's right to bring him in on his 'old' average...
-
It should be 45, if two teams face eachother, there are 90 points on the night up for grabs... split between the teams, it's 45, so the teams should be built to the limit where they are, on average, getting 45 points... 40 or 42.5 seems silly, when the teams were a 45 limit, the league was 100 times better than it is now... If they drop it any more, it'll be a huge mistake imo...

I think he should come in on his Coventry average... That's what he got in this country, that's what he should keep, as pointed out on this thread, Poland and UK tracks are A LOT different to each other
-
Must also add, I'm glad to see Dan Greenwood get a team place at Kent, felt sorry for him when he was dropped by us, although I did understand it
-
REALLY? I'd love him to ride for us... Maybe he can be our big name next year after, presumably, Robert moves on... Scott and Steve as out top end, would suit me, might not be the very best top end, but it would be entertaining... Especially if we can build in Robbo and Ludvig into the team too... All four capable of great races... Although I'd feel that would leave us without Rose and 2 weak reserves again... Interesting times ahead for me, I just gotta hope the average limit goes up!!
-
But once he gets used to them... He'll fly like he does in Poland, that's what the young Poles do, come over here, learn their trade and once they're used to the tracks, go away and do what they do on the continent, and fair enough

Already signed someone, good signing too Was hoping Kacper Woryna would ride in this country again

I'm not trying to slag George off, I'm just saying, what he said in the weekly round up was a bit strange... Overall, I think he's amazing for the club... On another note... There are a few riders on bargain averages around... Theo Pijper... 4.23 (a fit) Lewis Bridger... 6.59 Kyle Newman... 6.15 Paul Starke... 6.96 Ludvig Lindgren... 6.97 Jason Garrity... 7.52 Tero Aarnio... 5.21 Lewis Kerr... 6.71 Fernando Garcia... 4.40 Lewis Rose... 6.58 It could be an exciting winter to come if these averages stay similar to what they are now, I'd take Theo/Kerr/Garrity all day on them averages...

This was George's comments in the latest speedway round up... Is he taking the p*ss... We have no strength in depth, that's been our biggest problem all year, by far... And we might climb the table... But it'll never be enough for the play offs... I can understand him having to stay positive until it's mathematically impossible... But come on... If we're basing our 'strength in depth' on THAT Peterborough team... There's something wrong... NEWCASTLE – “Our strength in depth played out well for the win as we try to ascend the league table.” Diamonds’ boss George English felt their all-around strength was crucial in a hard-fought win over Peterborough.

No, I would say I pretty much agree with you, but fining Shelby? That's a bit harsh... It's not really his fault that Peteborough had to use a NL guest for Jack Holder, whoever it was, they were always going to struggle... Even JPB would have done... I don;t think Shelby, Ludvig, Ben, or any of the riders there yesterday are at fault, it;s the dodgy rules that need looking at, and I personally, right now, can't be arsed to decide which rules are good, if any, never mind fixing the bad ones... I personally thought some of the racing was decent last night, that race with Robson and Alfie was shaping up to be another good one before Simon decided to lay down... Chris Harris was a joy to watch, especially in heat 15, no stopping him for Steve... Our big hitters rode well all night, Stake gave it his all and even the likes of Luke Ruddick had a decent race, Simon Lambert was strange, one minute he was really fast, the next second he's getting passed like he's broken down... But yes, the whole team set up and meeting was a bit of a rip off for the paying public, but the riders made the most of it, I think there was 13 riders who wanted to be there... Unlike a certain Holder... I'd prefer to watch Shelby, because we at least know where his heart is...

How was Ludvig pulling up a 'dreck' (whatever that means) moment, I thought it was really nice to give Ben a bit of confidence, 6 points is a good haul for him Also, WHY BAN SHELBY? He's done nothing wrong? Ban him for not being good enough, for being out of his depth, ban him because the rules made Peterborough have to chose a rider of his level? This comment makes no sense to me...
