It was about as interesting as an average Berwick meeting. Sadly, that seems to be becoming the norm at more and more tracks. Sitting here watching the Polish final on nSport+, I am being reminded of what real speedway, with real passing is all about.

Good point New Science. In 2014 I was at the race off and final in Bydgoszcz and it was deserted for the 1st meeting. Such a pity as the racing was sublime. The final was also superb racing, in front of a full house.

Great win from Team GB and really enjoyed seeing Cookie being so dominant. But anyone who thought that was a good meeting is deluded. The racing was on a par with what is served up by Berwick. Utter follow the leader tripe. Was there even one genuinely great race, with multiple passing? No.

That sums up the meeting entirely. Unfortunately there seems to be little or no actual excitement these days in most if not all the racing at Armadale.

Just wondering if anyone on this tour - which was originally meant to include Torun v Czestochova (Friday 4th), Bydgoszcz v Tarnow (Sat 5th) and Leszno v Gorzow (Sunday 6th), staying all weekend at the Holiday Inn in Bydgoszcz - can confirm whether the original flights to Bydgoszcz have been changed? As there were fixture changes, the TP Tour seems now to be headed to Wroclaw v Grudziadz on the Friday, Rawicz v Poznan on the Saturday and the Sunday match is now at Torun. As far as I can ascertain the base is now the Sheraton in Poznan for Fri/ Sat nights and the Holiday Inn Bydgoszcz on the Sunday night. I'm asking, as I booked the same flights to Bydgoszcz from Glasgow and the Holiday Inn before the changes to the fixtures became apparent, and can't change them easily. As I already had a car booked, think it will now be a relaxing Friday night on the beer in Bydgoszcz square before travelling down to Rawicz for the Saturday afternoon match which is likely to start at 1545. Then of course, Torun on the Sunday. Thanks in advance!

I've obviously missed these changes. We are travelling independently, but I know that Travel Plus tours (who advertised this very weekend in Speedway Star a while back), are taking a large party from various UK airports to stay at the Holiday inn in Bydgoszcz for these fixtures. I know of around a dozen from my local track who are going with them. Can you tell me when the changes were made and where they were announced? I just checked the Leszno website and it still shows the fixtures as I described them. So does Torun's website!

You can't win expect to win against the Tiggers when you throw points away left, right and centre as Edinburgh did tonight. First Pickering threw away a point in heat 1 by falling then he failed to beat Jack Smith in heat 6. Clegg continues to look bereft of any idea of how to beat anyone and it's now imperative a replacement is sorted out for him. Wells went from champ to chump, and Davey continues to do the bare minimum without ever excelling. And I'd also question the fact that Mark Riss only had 6 rides. The way he was used wasn't exactly sensible, keeping the first half of the meeting so empty of his rides. Was it sensible to use the crap gating Pickering in heat 10? I'd have used Riss there, as he'd likely have outgated one or both of the Tiggers. Had Monarchs ridden to the top of their game and used their reserve to his full capacity I'd have thought we should have won by at least 4-6 and probably by enough to secure all 3 points. No doubt who the happier team will be tonight.

Paid yesterday using debit Mastercard and found the whole thing easy, as I was using Google Chrome browser on my iMac, which automatically translates everything to English. Enjoyed that match tonight, fantastic picture. I like the fact that when you click on each channel available, it gives a listing of that's on for the next 12 hours or so, which is making me salivate,. the amount of speedway on the various channels is amazing!
