Those two not for me but with the five i named that would be a youthful exciting team could Tungate be an option?
-
J.Holder, Kurtz,Woryna,Jacobsen Shanes would be the five i would base my team around be interesting to see what Matt does.
-
Totally agree but Steve has to prove that he is still the rider he was before he broke his leg.
-
Getting that rider to cope in the top five is a tough ask but Jake with Doyley might work. Also dont expect Dimitri to be a top 5 rider but on his day he is mighty quick that reserve pairing would do me Zach to improve again.
-
If we could fit him in Jack Holder is a rider i would love to see come.Could we afford him dont know a quality rider Poole should bury the hatchet with him.Going back to Swindon would be chuffed with Jason , Toby, Nick, Adam,Dimitri, Zach and my last choice would be Jake Allen. My only worry there is Jake has been poor at the Abbey a different track now more improvement to come from Jake.
-
Chuffed with that Tobiasz can improve again if the averages allow i wondered who would prefer Zach over Stefan if it was for 1 spot.?I really want Berge to sign and would be really happy with a Berge/ Zach reserve partnership.
-
Not around those two tracks named? the rest of course he is i like Worrall as a rider hope he bounces back this year.
-
Auty will let them gate but at his best beats both and Auty at his best will beat both at Belle Vue as well.
-
Would you pick Auty over Worrall / Garrity if everyone was 100 per cent fit.
-
The Pirates had the likes of May, Gooddy, Middlo, (ect) who were great team men very important to any team.Just thinking Ray the Poole 1969 championship side did not look a flashy team but they odviously were a very good team who all pulled together.
-
Thing is Ray you need stable second strings not everyone can improve. That is what i hate about the average points limit continuity has now gone out the window you sometimes change riders and you are no better off.At Swindon over the years Hitch, Keen, Munday (RIP) Bouchard ect were no super stars but were loved by the fans and did there job.
-
Would not be happy if Nick went elsewhere and upped his game.We all know what he can do and on that average he should be a shoe in.Also i would love him to stay and eventually get a testimonial also continuity in the PL has to be good for Nick .This is because he has moved one hell of alot at Championship level over the years mainly because of the crappy rule book.
-
For Belle Vue if Tungate is not in the side would Auty come into the equation on a low average.?? If Belle Vue had strong reserves all year that would make them really hard to beat at home.I like as in yesteryear a second string swapping with a reserve every month gives riders a chance to get confidence.
-
Cant see that at all forever, Wright had a better average than Howarth ( who had a home advantage at Wolves Somerset is fairer!!) in both leagues.
-
Wright is a solid rider a rider i like i was a fan of his at Swindon he can also still improve. What i like about Wright is he has showed he can cope in the top 5 there are not to many of those riders around at the moment.
-
Fingers crossed then at his best exciting talented he would do the Wolves well.
-
Be great if Freddie or Piotr can ride for the Wolves again.
-
You are certainly right about Stefan, if you are correct it will be interesting to see on the 5.06 average available who swaps all season with Berge for the top5/ reserve place.I would be well happy with a Berge/ Zach reserve partnership all year but it will be difficult to fill that 5.06 average with a rider who could cope in the top 5.What i like about the side you named is the familiarity the fans have with most of the riders i like that.
-
I would go for Berge but would Nielsen get the nod because he is an asset???
-
GREAT news really shocked it will be great to go out there to see Jason ride everyweek and double figures plus every meeting will do me.I think Nick/ Toby/ Zach are likely now.
-
I would love Doyley back at Swindon even if it means getting the begging bowl out.Cant see it happening though, he would be a great signing for the Witches he could set them on there way to having a successful return to the top sphere.
-
Young Anders Rowe has got a great move to Somerset and hopefully he can kick on again at the pacy Somerset track. My hope is that Anders will be ready for the top league by his twentieth birthday. Also will be interesting to see what happens to Tom Brennan he was very impressive for us last year and i would like to think Rosco has first option on Tom.
-
Out of those riders Musielak can improve more than most we will see.!!
-
His average was not false at Wolves he struggled at times at home but everybody especially the Wolves fans knew he had untapped potential. At home Swindon at certain times he was a revelation and there are not to many seven pointers who have the potential to improve.Nick i really like and i would love him to get a testimonial at Swindon but he has to PROVE now he can be an eight pointer again.I know the track will be different in 2019 but at times this year his confidence at home looked shot after having 2 or 3 crashes in the same place.
-
Jack Holder would be a signing i would love to see happen.
