  1. Lampart actually did not do to badly over here in 2012. he averaged overall around 5.83.He contributed quite alot that year and arguably it was a tougher league then. But make no mistake it is a tough ask for him but if he can average 5 i will be happy if not we can replace him.
  2. Either way Wolves are very strong,Thorssell considering he was coming back from a nasty injury and riding in a tough no1 role it was not a disaster.Away he had four double figure scores and two paid double figure scores out of 13 matches average .He can put at least half a point on his average Pawlicki well i am a big fan of his if they go that way they will be no worse off i love watching Piotr ride.I dont know if Wolves are banking on Howarth being at reserve? at home they will be a tough nut to crack.
  3. I understand why Matt has assembled the side,to cut down on costs and that is the right thing to do in this particular climate.Holder and Brady i really like as riders and both have huge potential and being a speedway fan i want both to kick on if they do Poole will be a FORCE.
  4. Out of the side's assembled so far i would say Poole have the weakest team. Also i think the Poole track has to be improved to see the best of Jack Holder saying that i believe he will have a great season and onwards and upwards for him.For me Klindt Grajczonek,Worrall, are the weak links and heats 13/15 are going to be hard work for them.
  5. Worrall i am sure will be fine he is naturally fit, he will score well decent away.Dan will need time but he will ride through it Fricke if he is on it he can average 9 plus at home he is that good.Lidsey i have followed since his under 15/16 days he is a talent and cant wait to see him race. For me this Vue side looks exciting personally want Fricke to push on a real class act love watching him ride ADAMS (esc)!!!
  6. I dont see Peterborough winning anything entertaining yes Swindon and Belle Vue are very similar in alot of ways a mixture of youth and exsperience.Between them Fricke, Worrall, Bewley, Lidsey, Musielak, Zach,Ellis, Shanes, can all improve.
  7. A really good signing, he is a guy who can improve i wanted him at Swindon where he would of partnered Doyle. But Ipswich have a good signing here and i can see him challenging Auty/ Garrity for the number 1 spot at Scunthorpe also.
  8. The rules are what they are and your club has done very well. They are a club i am looking forward to see race at the Abbey. With the limited amount of real firepower at the top end ex) Doyley, Lambert, Iversen?? it is exciting that the league could have a strong heat 2 with the likes of Barker- Bjerre-N.B.J.Covatti. a real strong heat like going back to the 80s.
  9. Are those other riders named 1-5 riders? i think not i think Lampart has a period to come up to speed otherwise he goes.
  10. They are decent reserves but Barker ( who i like and enjoy watching is on the wane) Bjerre never been a fan of.Saying that they do look a good partnership but there is a slight niggle there for me that i am not convinced i do prefer Poole reserves.
  11. Poland and the U.K. are of course like chalk and cheese, but unlike yesteryear riders don't have to ride here now to become World class.I see those sort of riders just coming over here now for some pocket money often leaving there best aquipment at home.
  12. Ask Michael Lee in 1983 end of October dangerous is not the word.My point was i never see him ever being a World Champion but fair play went on and had a great career.
  13. I can remember Sam Ermolenko in his hair raising days who was nearly wiping everyone out and he went on to be World Champion. You predict what you think Castagna can average in 2019.???
  14. I dont think Drabik or Smektala would be a risk maybe Woryna just isn't good anough. I still think he could improve over here still but Lambert,Smektala,Drabik are a level above Woryna.
  15. Wolves who are they? na joking. Steve if they sign Thorssell/ Morris they look really strong JT will put at least half a point on his average. If they go a different route say Pawlicki they will still be strong i will be surprised if they get beat at home.
  16. Of course injuries have gone against him but if he can regroup he will be fine and he will show he is a Championship rider. Castagna there is certainly another reason he is in above Hume and it is not because of having more ability.
  17. I have to say i am looking forward to Peterborough ride they will be exciting hopefully Cookie kicks on.Can this Dad's Army side win the league? who knows great to have the Panthers back in the PL.
  18. I am with you Ace not convinced with this team i think it will be good at home away the jury is out.It is an ageing team BWD i like he can improve i would of had him back at Swindon cant see this side winning a title.
  19. Not when it is Castagna Ben!!! who has failed badly in the past. The English guy should always get the nod by doing ok in the champs his converted average 3.79 that has gone against him.He averaged well over 5 at home and was only really behind Bacon, Kemp, in the Champs averages.Look at Glasgow's reserves they will be lucky to score 3/5 points a meeting between them.
  20. To be honest Keith is Poole speedway worth that much ? the stadium is rented right?.Also are the riders asset base worth much most of them wont ride the uk again in this climate cant see a taker. With the team in 2019 with no Woryna, Grajczonek, Worrall, Klintd, would be my worries.I would of based my team around Holder,Kurtz, Woryna, Jackobsen, Shanes we shall see roll on April.
  21. I actually think this is a decent signing he is not particularly exciting to watch but i have seen him a few times and he has impressed.I am not a fan of Covatti but this is a solid partnership i actially think NBJ will do a decent job.
  22. I think that the Peterborough reserve partnership will be decent at home away from home i am not so sure. Also both of those riders are racer types will they gell? one thing is though that both Bjerre/Barker will be able to mix it in the top five when they move up.
  23. I think if Zach can start the season well he can push on ORLOV he always seems to start the season slowly then gradually gets into it.At home at times he was very good, he beat some good riders he has a great riding style and is a popular bloke with everyone really hope he can improve again i think he will.
  24. I dont know what other Swindon fans think but the reserves being assembled at other clubs are not that frightening.I think Zach/ James can hold there own certainly at home anyway.
  25. Some of those 2 pointers will be like Bickley this year wont even average much more over two points. saying that the league does seem easier in 2019.Will Ruddick, Chessell,Bailey, Lawlor,Kinsley,( ect) average 3.79? i hope i am wrong and i am glad these young Brits are getting a chance i hope some push on.
