You are a hard man to please Blue !!!! Lidsey has real talent he even showed that in his first Polish season as a squad member. He has done well in the 21s and he has gone a different route to Max who had two seasons in the Champs.Lidsey also impressed me at the Abbey a couple of times and now he has some experience of the set ups in the UK a big improvement is on the cards.
-
The thing is though forever who would of predicted that Doyley would of achieved what he has done not many of us.Last season when i visited the NSS in the Supporters trophy Lidsey was mighty impressive along with Bewley .Lidsey i believe learned one hell of alot last year and he can continue to improve and he has years ahead of him god willing.
-
Alot of people said Fricke would never make a GP rider, and apart from maybe Smektala,Drabik, Lambert, Kubera it is all to play for to reach the series in the future.
-
I think Lidsey will be pushing for that third heat leader position in my opinion himself along with Becker could be future GP riders.
-
My concern for you is Kildemand i dont know what has gone wrong for him but he is capable of doing a decent job.Kurtz is no Max but i believe he can be a real force at home also he will be exciting to watch.
-
I wish Danyon Hume had been given the chances Jack has had ( i e.) Glasgow, Sheffield, Redcar.
-
Acef looking at this Aces side Kurtz, Wright, Bewley, Worrall, Lidsey, Etheridge can all improve there figures.Wright also for me is a very decent rider away from home if he can say be averaging over eight at home his figures away will improve also.I enjoyed watching Steve/Charles riding for the Robins so are two riders i would love to keep improving.
-
I feel Wright has the potential to put at least half a point on his average. And if he can quickly get dialled in to his new home track he can bring that confidence to his away performances.I have watched that British Final win a few times and god how good was Charles he was superb. He just needs to get his set ups right at the NSS as the conditions will differ weekly but for him personally it is a great career move and a chance to move up the ladder in his career.
-
I think Hans can certainly improve Geoff , Harris will as usual entertain us along the way and will be alot better at home. But personally i prefer youth and improvement over experience i.e.) the likes of Bewley, Lidsey, Ellis, over Andersen, Nicholls, Harris.
-
I don't think that current average is good anough though blue he is better than that. But he needs to stand up like Doyley and boss the important heats i am not sure he can consistently do that anymore.
-
Did Orion price this lot up for Bet 365 ?? whoever did is not that clued up on Speedway and Orion certainly fits that bill.He had the audacity to mock Mick the muppet yet Mick knows alot more about the history of speedway that Orion would ever know.
-
Puk is the key to this Panthers side he has to try and average within half a point of Doyle for this side to have any chance. His British form has slipped in recent years and to be honest is he a trusted week in week out number 1 now the jury is out for me.Also is the Uk a top priority for him ? i hope he gets back to his best as i have been a fan of his since his Newport days and his early battles with Charlie Gjedde.
-
I think he is more than capable of averaging over eight he was impressive last year at the Abbey.
-
You are a brave man betting that amount on that dads Army outfit. Also i believe Nichols could dominate reserve races on the technical tracks but will be vulnerable on the pacier tracks.
-
For me dress it as much as you want to get 49 points plus you need top end strength. This notion of everybody chipping in to get a result is in my view is not workable you always need at least two riders to score double figures plus every meeting.
-
I do think Mick is spot on with Swindon though at 6/4, i certainly would not be offering them at 7/2.Even if there is a little stumble at the start( i.e.) Stewart,Perks, Rowe there could always be a change but personally i would like to stick to the original 1-7 all season.
-
Swindon cracking value at 7/2 for me Swindon, Belle Vue, Wolves, Sheffield to reach the playoffs.
-
Have they anough top end strength though anough heat winners on paper Nicholls/Ostergaard look ok but everyone thought that when they had Barker/L.Bjerre at reserve.I think those weaker riders at reserve you named will be harder to beat than you think it will be interesting but i will say the diehard Peterborough fans deserve a good team and i wish them luck.
-
I don't see all the upbeat enthusiasm Blue with this Panthers side, for me it is a side that is on a downward slope. At home they will be hard to beat away from home cant see them getting that much at all.Ulrich at reserve for me he will be doing well to beat the likes of young Kemp/Rowe hope i am wrong because the Panthers last year with so unlucky.Last year there original side was disrupted and changed but i don't see this side reaching the playoffs for me there is not anough heat winners in it.

Funny that when riders posted great averages in yesteryear you belittled them you can't have it both ways.I tried to sway my way of thinking tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but you and Orion are both complete a.... the worst two on the forum.
-
Not you personally no but haven't you grasped the fact that Witcher is always right, and to get his own way he argues you into submission.
-
If there is a problem with the side i am sure the promotion will make a quick change. By using the other two points up just for the sake of it does not mean the side will be any stronger..Maybe the promotion looked at certain sides with the extra two points used and felt this side was still more attractive. What you do not quite grasp is the fact that the promotion might believe they have a core of a future team in Becker, Douglas, Nicol . As DC2 said there were few alternatives available anyway who were any better than the six they had.
-
When you look at this Wolves side for me it has a nice balance to it, a definite playoff position awaits yet some muppets on here are more concerned about the averages.
-
I think Jason will know within a few weeks whether he has it or not, ER the diehard Swindon supporter had it spot on young Crumpie will not except losing easily that is what made him a champion. My hunch is that he will average over seven mainly because the tracks now are quite technical apart from the NSS and Owlerton. His ability is top notch he has brilliant aquipment a superb attitude and is a complete professional. If he has a full season there is not a chance of him being three points lower than Nicki if anything Pedersen has it all to prove to he will not get it his own way all of the time. The approach Jason should take is not to put to much pressure on himself and enjoy his speedway i for one am looking forward to seeing an alltime top 10 great in action again even though it is a 44 year old version. His battles with Leigh Adams at the Abbey in the 2000s still stick in the mind superb two great legends of our sport.

Going back to 2010/11/12 when the National side was weak and Bridger,King,Barker,Garrity (etc) were all scratching around Middleditch was in charge then. Not that you would remember then , you would have a job to remember yesterday just you carry on washing the dishes for a living until you are seventy what a future enjoy.!!!!!
