  1. Pity about that netting though Dog on the fence ? mind you we have a great view coming out of bend two.And we have a clear view of bends 3/4 loads of new lines appearing there this track looks exciting would love more banking.
  2. A reasonable meeting again the track was a bit unpredictable early on but it settled down.Quite a solid team performance Vissing on the pace should of scored paid four and he beat Cook on merit.King's Lynn dug deep and in all honesty they deserved a point Lambert decent Kerr was a different rider than the one the other week.Doyle after his duck egg in heat 1 ( bike problems??) was superb a new track record came his way i notice now Jason has really got dialled in at the Abbey really chasing the dirt out wide on bend two.The worrying thing was the crowd i recon between 1000/1100?? but i notice there are more people on the old stand side now, maybe they want to visit those legendary toilets.!!!
  3. Is that the grab a granny night? more dogs there than the local kennel's you missed a reasonable meeting mate the Budgies are on the march.!!!!
  4. We will make the top four Crazy starting with all three points against Wolves.
  5. Fair play GiveusaB my mistake, funny thing is i like Nathan as well he is exciting to watch and he was very unlucky.I remember him getting 9 against Eastbourne and he was battling really hard. A real tough ask that bridging the gap from NL to a fully fledged reserve at champs level us at Swindon have young Rowe as an asset and he is progressing nicely at Somerset.
  6. How has Hume replacing Stoneman made you weaker? ? i presume Morris and Arnio will be back soon as well.
  7. Is Shovlar the main culprit tellboy?? this is the guy who believe's Poole has one of the top tracks in the league.!!!
  8. I hope that Claus can chip in with three or points a meeting that along with Ellis Perks contribution that could be anough when Musielak is back.??If Claus does not work out, maybe a fit Stefan Nielsen, Pickering, or Jeppesen could be option's.?
  9. I would say 3/4 points would be anough added with Ellis's total the top five then have to score between 40/43 points.
  10. Sounds like you are not enjoying your speedway City? at Swindon i have really enjoyed it not that it would take alot as the last few years have been awful bar the odd race.
  11. You are right Iainb the main reason the Abbey track was changed was because of the new stadium( not convinced that will happen???) But the management knew the shape had to change the racing in the main for the last three years has been dire and bend four certainly has had its problems.Going back to your comment on Ford what has he got to sell?? ?? the promotional rights and the clubs rider assets that is all is that right?
  12. With Tobi back and fit anough, and Steff again slotted at reserve i am hoping 6/8 + points a meeting from reserve will be anough.
  13. I liked him at Rye House Dog and felt he was shafted there badly, he really has rode his nuts off for us since his arrival. His vital points at home to Ippo and at Wolves on Monday contributed greatly to us picking up points. What i like about Ellis is at home especially if he hits the front he looks like he can stay there a good signing by Alun hopefully Ellis could become a longterm signing.
  14. A comfortable home win i think, hopefully we can win our next four home meeting's with maximum points i hope Ellis Perks can get a decent score as he deserves it he is riding very well.
  15. If we can win our next four home meeting's preferably taking maximum points we are back in the hunt.As Orion said we are one rider short of being the best team in the league get a fit anough Tobi/ Stefan back and we will be fine.
  16. With or without the holes? a cheap option a patched up job maybe it shows that Matt's heart is not in it anymore and he is hanging on in there out of loyalty. In my opinion Swindon's racetrack is above Poole's now and week on week it is getting better and more consistent.Hand on heart two or three years ago i never would of said that, you just dig holes for yourself in total denial all you had to say was there were some issues to deal with.None of the fans on the forum want Poole to be a poor track we all know when it is at it's best just how good it can be.
  17. Smart, Watson were great value after that Puk came along enjoyed the Premier League period.
  18. Last season tell boy Swindon's track came under real scrutiny, there was the Leicester postponement Vaculiv got injured. On that occasion the weather was the main factor but a few weeks later we had huge problems on bend four Nick Morris fell three weeks on the trot in the same place. Our management recognised something had to be done and that led to them changing the shape of the track before the season started. This cost them money and we actually had to postpone the first meeting of the season look the place is still not perfect now but the racing has improved so much the track is getting better by the week.Poole on the other hand need to bite the bullet and rectify the problem straight away the track has looked dangerous at times and Shovlar by saying what he has about it is in complete denial.
  19. Fixed when in 1989 ??? all you want is a winning side you could not care less about the entertainment element.
  20. Can you remember that long ago ?? i doubt you can remember what you did yesterday.Dont take the mickey out of this track you have by far the worst track in the league no more big meeting's should be coming Poole's way anytime soon.
  21. Pleased with a point after a battling performance, we now have, four home meeting's coming up quickly so we can push on.We can win all those matches that point tonight could be vital come the end of the season.Hopefully get Tobi back and resolve that number seven position all is not lost season still alive.
  22. I went through out the eightie's and when Scott Autrey got the track record there and won a car that is when i believe the track was at his best. From now on the challenge is for the management is to get the track back to a exceptable level.
  23. I actually like the club, i have great memories of going to Wimbourne Rd over the years the first time in 1974 v Exeter ( the Ivan show) and i want them to get that racetrack back to its former glories.
