Looking at a few posts you've put on some threads in the past 24 hours, one could start to conclude you don't like the Leicester Speedway racetrack very much at all? Just a feeling I'm getting? Sorry, couldn't resist.

After the story of the riders not being paid appeared in the Speedway Star, thus making it public knowledge, wouldn't it have been nice for an official statement to appear from someone at the club to explain just what is going on? Or I suppose that's just too much to ask for. Just seems various parties are playing silly buggers leaving an honest set of riders stuck in the middle. Poor.

Makes the obvious determination and will to win last night, especially evident in Klindt & Wozniak, all the more remarkable. Big credit to all the Lions really.

Having just witnessed first-hand tonight's meeting at Leicester I would of thought Mr. Buczkowski would be the most vulnerable. To replace Chris Holder makes no sense at all.

Of course you can pay at the "turnstyles" tonight. The more the merrier at Leicester, we could do with a few extra quid by all accounts.

Lindgren looking very doubtful as he's going back to Sweden for treatment on his back. Like the idea of the 'celebration of speedway', wish the Lions promotion would show a little initiative sometimes. Although we did have 'Zorbing' on the centre green last year. Hope our lads will put up a fight, wonder why your upcoming match against Belle Vue wasn't targeted for these celebrations? Reckon Poole will win by 15-20 points.

Yep. Since I've been on this forum, it's noticeable there are always one or two gloom & doom merchants on Leicester threads. Optimism is in short supply nowadays. Onwards and upwards. I hope

Kasprzak or no Mr.Kasprzak it was the largest crowd by far at Leicester last night. Plus some decent close racing. Makes me wonder more why the powers that be insist on running meetings when we're barely out of winter. Nice sunny evening seems to bring the crowds

Was some good racing. Good crowd too. Shame no Kasprzak as he's great round Beaumont Park. Top effort from both sets of riders despite the meeting not having much riding on it. Just hope the Lions promotion get their act together so we can do it all over again next year!

Well it's unsurprisingly been called off. Now all you pirate fans can stop worrying about what the mighty lions might do to your play-off hopes. I can tell by the posts on this thread how concerned you all were.

I agree. Sadly history shows the Leicester promotion have a track record of getting not an awful lot right at all. Shabby.

Message just appeared on Leicester speedway website about retaining your ticket for future admission. Nothing about a refund though sadly.

Another last heat decider could be on the cards.....we may just sneak it....or maybe not. I'll find a fence to sit on

Yep. All 3 riders on premier league duty according to the Belle Vue website. Makes me wonder why the meeting is even taking place

Second home meeting running where the opposing team seems to have possibly bent the rules a wee bit, to make their team line-up stronger. Or at least been very cunning in their strategy. Weird thing is though, it's not like the lions are actually any bloomin' good home or away
