  1. Certainly like the idea of a challenge match against Sheffield. Pedersen would be a great draw. Let’s hope the owners make it so
  2. Sure he will. Might put some of his fellow riders bums on the deck too with that considerate riding style he has
  3. Hey, no worries, owt I’ve posted on here about next years team is just purely an uneducated guess
  4. Fits easy with Proctor instead of Howarth. Reckon Joe Thompson will join the team come late April
  5. Don’t worry it’s all lost in translation. He’s coming over next season just to show his face with a view to getting something permanent in 2021. Nowt more than that
  6. That’s disappointing. Very strong top 3 for Edinburgh though
  7. Ellis Perks’ title winning ride in heat 14 is on the Leicester Speedway Twitter page now. It’s a great piece of riding on a great racetrack. Good stuff
  8. Glasgow definitely had some bad luck over the 2 legs. Feel we deserve the title though, we’ve earned it over the whole, long, season. Credit to all at the club. Champions!!
  9. Good luck to you. Obviously the best race night for the club. Would think Ryan Douglas is nailed on for you guys next year for a start.
  10. I was standing by the first turn thinking to myself what a crap job we’ve done of doctoring this track. Especially as an opposition rider scores a brilliant, impeccable 15 point max and the only rider to look uncomfortable and fall off was one of our own
  11. Biggest crowd I’ve seen in years at Leicester last night for the play off 1st leg against Glasgow. I certainly didn’t dream that either
  12. Afraid you might be right. Would have preferred Nicholls to Douglas in heat 15 too. Before the meeting though I’d have been relatively happy with a 6 point lead. Given ourselves a fighting chance
  13. Chucked it down here in Leicestershire last night but it’s a dry & bright one today. Should be a decent meeting later
  14. Crowds at Leicester this year definitely up on our previous years riding in the top league. Can’t say I was deliriously happy with the decision to drop down, really wasn’t, but it’s been proved now to be a decent call.
  15. Welcome aboard the SGB Championship bus, once mighty Pirates
  16. Looking forward to it. Absolutely lobbed it down Monday and early yesterday, today is thankfully dry & breezy. Should be a decent meeting.
  17. Could be Jake Allen for both legs. Or maybe Allen at Glasgow & Richard Lawson for the home leg. Or Josh Pickering again like the Eastbourne meetings? Sure there are others I’ve forgotten, we’ve had a few
  18. Although our viewpoint on the first bend is hardly the best from which to judge, a few of us felt he nicked it on the line too.
  19. I guess it’s possible but 2 of our riders are due to appear in the NLRC that day
  20. Can’t see them changing the date of the cubs meeting
  21. What is the purpose of this post? What are you trying to say? Who’s side are you even on?
  22. Pickering it is. For both matches. Game on
  23. It has to be him. Fingers crossed he’s as good as last time. Probably Kyle Howarth for the home leg, or perhaps Bomber.
