Theres a fair few riders I'd quite like to see don the Scorpions no. 7 jacket - most likely one being Ryan Kinsley (who around the EWR is better than Kyle Bickley IMO) Ryan Kinsley Ryan MacDonald Jordan Jenkins (I know hes only doing NL but if we need a new No 7 due to injury, maybe an option?) Tom Young Henry Atkins Tom Brennan Drew Kemp (if eligible) Dan Gilkes (if eligible) Jack Thomas the list goes on.... although I'd be happy with Josh Bailey back, in a make or break season. -

Heard a rumor (whether its true is still to be seen and announced) but apparently Steve Worrall is moving to a Championship track 'closer to home' and this should allow him to fulfill his Polish commitments, and with Rob announcing in the SS that he'd be running Fridays next year (if we are to run) could this mark out a return for stevie? Trying to think of a team, could we maybe have something like this: Steve Worrall, Jake Allen, Josh Auty, Dimitri Berge, No 5?, Josh Bates, Josh Bailey (or JPB?) -
Autys going nowhere, we love him at scunny and hes happy with us

I know who'd I'd like to see in a scunny racejacket next season (providing the average limit is 46) (averages based on this weeks speedway star, so could be wrong) 1. Steve Worrall (9.26) 2. Jake Allen (6.08) 3. Thomas Jorgensen (7.22) 4. Josh Auty (7.44) 5. Nick Morris (9.07) 6. Fritz Wallner (3.76) (Would he have to come back on a 4?) 7. Jack P Blackburn (2.67) TOTAL - 45.5 On paper, it looks like a team that would entertain, do well home and away and potentially make the play offs -

Like to hope for a Scunny win... Harris set for atleast 12 points, if not 15... hope Douggie has sorted his engine problems out (probably go back to his ones from last year, the GTRs aren't doing him much good ), Wilko due for a good match.. Greaves as a guest could either be brilliant or not, time will tell. Weather looks fine here (5 miles from the track) bring on the racing -

Car Park £1.00 at Scunny... I believe £17 (inc car park and programme) is excellent value on Britains finest racetrack -

Personally I prefer Friday nights myself, but at the end of the day, we're just lucky we have a track to go to and a team to support, more than what some others can say

From a Scorpions prespective: Ryan Douglas - starting as our number 1, shown all the potential in the past 4 years hes been with us and this year could be his year, I can see him pushing towards an 8 - 8.5 average Fritz Wallner - shown potential at the end of last season, hopefully not another Zdenek Holub.... Definenetly an entertainer though. I'd say if he can achieve a 4.5 average, it would have been a successful season for the lad. Lewis Kerr - On a bargain average! I can easily see him being a 6-8 pointer towards the end of the season. Great to see him enjoying his racing again. Potential number 1 Michael 'Palm Tree' Toft - Again, much like Lewis, could be a number 1 on a 8 point average. Josh Auty - 'Mr Entertainer' didn't have a great 2016, expecting him to stay at heat leader. Carlos Wilkinson - 'Mr Dependable' should be aiming to be in the top 5 come the end of the season Josh Bailey - Last season ended on the injured list. Shown a lot of potential during the season to persuade Rob to keep him, and a great guy, Im sure he can come on leaps and bounds this season. All in all, all I would like to see is an entertaining season, hopefully we wont lose too many at home. Potential dark horses for the play offs -
Heard via Facebook Alex is coming back in 3 months so who knows if he has a team elsewhere in the league or would be our back up rider
-
Just a thought for next season to start the season - A retro style meeting (Like what Scunny v Sheffield at the end of 2013(?)) 13 heats + 2nd half - for the Kenny Smith memorial? Whats everyone think
-
What we need at Scunny in 2017 - A decent number 1 - no disrespect to Josh but he aint a number 1, a 9 pointer maybe? - A decent sound system, so us fans can hear better - Better music, sorry Barry but yer musics coming stale now.. - Challenge meetings at the start of the season - maybe against a team such as Leicester? - Meetings to fill in blank weekends (Championship of Lincolnshire individual as an idea)
