  1. With this Scorpions team, you just dont know what to expect... Winning at Sheff Thurs to a thumping at Edinburgh the next night... Worky should win this, but I wouldn't be surprised if Scunny take a point or 2
  2. Just as we thought our bad luck had ended, here we go again.. I almost made the trip up for this meeting and glad I decided not to. We can still mathematically make the playoffs, but it would mean claiming 4 points from at least 2 of our 3 aways, which will be very tricky as we have to go to Workington and Ipswich. Congratulations to Edinburgh on their win and best wishes to Jase and Gino
  3. Scorpions to take this, Jake and Josh have been THE pairing of the 2018 SGB Championship Season
  4. Jake scored 4+1 today for P'boro, saving himself for tomorro night and Friday
  5. Think Rob mentioned last Sunday Nico Covatti was booked, BUT that could have been for the (now cancelled) Newcastle match
  6. Spiderman1, that would be fecking amazing, but would be more than happy with a point
  7. Just checking the start time of the Glasgow meeting, our website says 5pm, BSPA site says 3pm?
  8. Dont think Jason and Stef are quite ready to comeback.. Jase saving himself for Cardiff
  9. Stevie Worrall is back for the Scorpions on Friday at Peterborough
  10. Think scunny could nick a point here, would love to go to this meeting, a track I've never been to
  11. Should be a Peterborough win, even with super Steve in the team, although I hope I'm wrong
  12. Henderson Insurance Scunthorpe Scorpions: 1. Rory Schlein, 2. Rider replacement for Stefan Nielsen, 3. Aaron Summers, 4. Jake Allen, 5. Josh Auty, 6. David Wallinger, 7. Gino Manzares. Edinburgh Monarchs: 1. Ricky Wells, 2. Victor Palovaara, 3. Mark Riss, 4. Josh Pickering, 5. Erik Riss, 6. Max Ruml, 7. Joel Andersson. A reminder that the start-time for this meeting is 6.30pm.
  13. Is there anyone going to this meeting that could get me a programme please? Please DM me.. Many thanks
  14. WOW, What a night! Some top class racing action, from both sets of riders. R Worrall not the best choice of guest for the Tigers.. An all round team effort from the lads tonight, Schlein nice paid max and fully deserved, Josh and Jake was their usual awesome selfs, and what a top man Gino is, 4 rides on the bounce, when was that last done by anyone?? Think we can now put the last bad fortnight to bed and kick on now. UTS
  15. Half expect Sheffield to go through on aggregate but hope the Scunny lads can do the job at home
  16. Hope its a good day and some brilliant racing is served.. I know were not on the best form at the moment but dont count scunny out as potential spoilers
  17. Think we should be looking at making a 28 day deal with someone, to cover either Steve's or Stefans absence. Andreas Lyager would be a decent shout, seems to be flying at the moment
  18. Did think the ref made some bad decisions last night... firstly, Adam Ellis, wheel spun at the start of heat 10 (I believe it was) which was brought back with Ellis given a warning.. then in the rerun, Ellis jumps the start and it wasn't brought back (WHY!!!!!) and secondly, When Nick Morris fell in heat 15, (the first staging) the Scorpions were on a 5-1, and rulings do state if a rider falls when the opposite team is on a 5-1, the faller is excluded and his teammate goes off 15m, why didn't that happen last night.. it happened to us enough times at Glasgow a few weeks back
