Coles can go to IOW or Plymouth maybe Buxton as those teams need to be a bit stronger, Lakeside have had a move around so has others in the League, This is speedway and will always be speedway. Dugard can go to IOW or KENT as anyone can make a change there is 2 good riders free but feel they are not good enough for Eastbourne at this moment in time, I do feel like Eastbourne has a real number 1 which has been missing this season.
-
Well they made us wait again for that change, shame about Kelsey but you can see that his effort is not enough at the moment but again that may change, Connor coles has done well to up his average but again he never looked very happy at the Arlington bowl. Cant wait to see them all at the next meeting rock and roll everyone, will jake come back as Captain?
-
If Eastbourne are going to make any changes, what is the dead line for it all to happen more like the transfer window in Football maybe thats not such a bad idea.
-
Looking at it all they have really done is put another number 1 in the side, I dont think the BSPA will allow it, they think they have got all of it covered and passed by the BSPA but i have not seen a new team dec at the moment. If they dont make it stick then i have to say if i was Magic i would stick my 2 fingers up to lakeside for they way he has been treated. Also i ask the question who is running the speedway, if it is Peter Morrish then i am sorry you have to have an RR on you as your too old.

If 3 or four wins away gets us to the play offs we have had a good start as we won at Plymouth so we are 1/4 of the way. Not sure about the team, maybe as the last few years we always have had a change with at least 3 members of the team well i am sure someone is out there thinking outside the box for a change..

I am a little confused by the averages, would it not be better to let Kelsey and connor get an average then replace them if thats the plan as there averages will be higher by the time they have ridden agaist Stoke this weekend.
-
I talked to Connor coles last weekend and he said that the amount of miles he is doing is taking its toll, he also said to me that it takes him almost 2,5 hours to 3 hours to get to Eastbourne as he now lives with his dad which he said he has done from the start of the season, he also said at the rate he is going he will need a part time job to make it all pay, so reading between the lines his dad is either up the midlands or Exeter way?

Seen that the club have purchased tyres for the rest of the season, All red bands i guess, i think it will be interesting that if they are used against mildenhall this weekend to see if the Eagles can make a start as it paid off against Cradley. big question is who is going to be the winners as a very tight match.
-
I was a late arrival on Saturday and i never managed to get a programme but thats my fault. i understand that its a guess on how many programmes to sell each week and have printed, my guess is they must cost £1.30 a programme so only making 70p per programme is very poor, The best programme in the league why not pay £3 for it as we no longer pay for the carpark, Thats the same as the Cradley and Birmingham programme. everyone is a winnner.

Watching the forum this week and i have to say that i think Mildenhall are a class act and jenkins alone is the one to watch, but as far as track conditions it would point to it all being fair and the fact that Eastbourne went from winning on Friday at Plymouth and a big loss at Mildenhall has to have a few key factors, I read that Brennan had a new tyre? if was a pink band then well done for him getting a tyre that works. Nothing wrong with Yellow band tyres if both teams are on them. In all the other leagues you fit a tyre at a meeting supplied by the club but i think it was a bad day for Eastbourne out classed by Mildenhall there must be a reason but i am sure we will never find out. Seems a bit to quite as to the reason what went wrong, Fantastic race from Ayres and Wood.

Eastbourne were no better in the last meeting so it should be a good head to head at this rate.
-
What can i say about Mildenhall and Eastbourne. only one rider turned up and thats the same one that has top scored in the last 4 meetings and thats Tom Brennan. dissapointed with the performance of Baseby, Dugard, Wood. I think that Eastbourne must be looking around and thinking what did they do wrong after plymouth? Maybe a little bit of investigation needed into equipment and effort. Martin Dugard is ment to be one of the better ex riders putting his thoughts out there and helping riders, was he at Mildenhall, Connor Dugard has built a poor side there is nobody to cover for anyone else, Kelsey Dugard is no where to be seen as they said in the report in the shadows, you have to be close to everyone to be in a shadow. hope they get it sorted by the weekend or cradley will pull Eastbournes pants down.

I was told when i was at kent that the surface is a sand and crushed mixed with small crushed stone that why when it rains it goes like slim plus the colour of it white.

is there any practice this week and will bates make it. i did see he was on facebook in Florida wonder if he will get any practice before the season starts.
-
Maybe with a bit of help from the management with a bike or engine for mattie he could well be a great signing, He had been round long enough and it could be his year.
-
Bates is he the Kid that had a bike that smoked like an old steam train at the start line. i remember they put him on Kelseys bike for a race and he went out and won the race ofter a very poor start. Think its a good signing, i can see that clubs like lakeside still dont have a team yet struggling to find a 3 pointer. Good luck Mattie good to have you back.

Press and practice i have heard is this sunday April 2nd but not sure what time i am going to have a guess at about 1pm but cant seem to find any information on it. Such a well run club seems to have missed this little point. Fans wanted P&P but no time given, also kent have P&P that day not sure which one to go to.
-
confused to whats going on as they said they cant find someone now they have all a smoke screen? i have had a look and cant see anyone who will slip straight in unless they remove coles and dugard and put knight and strudwick in?

Not a fan of the play offs but i guess its kept the league open for fans to follow other wise it was all over in August, Ask Belle Vue about the pain but it was good for the sport and good for the fans but not everyone is going to win. Looking forward to this one tonight but cant get there so will listen to it on the radio live tonight.

Good to see Richard Andrews back to where I thought he belonged but a happy face and a fantastic personality does not score you points. Richards unfortunate crash at Kent was a blessing in disguise for the club. I was hugely disappointed by the way it was handeled on social media seemed to a bit of a mess but also that Richard had been replaced. last night watching Harris and Brennan both beating him and Richard falling off twice in one race proved that As much as I am a Richard Andrews fan I rather win matches then loose them and I thought that Richard would have Scored 7 or 8 points last night to prove to the Eastbourne management that they had made a big mistake by letting him slip through their fingers. (Wrong) Funny to see BWD there but he seemed a bit lost until they got him to do the jackpot draw. Good meeting for what I have to say a meeting that I never thought would go on if it was the EL or PL they would have waked away that's why I love the NL.

So a rule that we can't check and one that's in a promoters guide that does not apply any more. Mmmmm think some ones making a rule up to suit. So what happened when Somerset had the mid season ball? Is that not allowed. As that's the same as end of season awards. And Cardiff and Nigel and kelvin fans zone. Mmmm let me think smells like a little porky pie to me.
-
I just had a look at the rule book online and i can see in the index "NO PARTY" i cant see it anywhere saying you cant have a social life during the season the biggest one i look forward too with a lot of the riders is Cardiff. Wonder if Jayne can give me the rule number for it saying not party during the season or awards before end of October?

Just seen that Kings Lynn is off tonight so means all the riders safe for the Weekend.

Interesting meeting this Saturday. Again another ex eagle will return with Richard Andrews last week Ben Hopwood. Will be interesting to see how his form is as he has been struggling for the hammers in the last month. I like Richard he always had time for me and the kids. Another good meeting on the cards

Good clean meeting from both sides, Adam Ellis crashed looked nasty and did well to get away with it, 2 highlights of the night was seeing Jack Thomas leading Adam Ellis and i thought it was going to go all the way until the Adam just passed him like he was standing still waiting for the number 7 bus to Eastbourne, the other one was Tommy B passing Thomas on the line to get 2nd place which really did bring the house down, good night of racing all round but i rather see racing at night then sunday afternoon. Nice to see Hopwood back and he did ride well.
