  1. The deadline to submit the redeclaration was midnight 28 August to take effect before midnight 31 August (72 hours). That' s the way I read the regulation anyway.
  2. True he is still in pussycats 1-7 but they have redeclared without him which will take effect from 30 Aug (72 hours from declaration) From then he is free. Anyone we sign (and we would have to declare it before midnight last night to beat the deadline of 31 August) would not now take effect until 31 August so could include Ashley Morris, as an injury replacement, if we wished to go down that route. If Lewis recovers from his injury before the end of the season, he could return, I believe, as from 1st September the only team changes allowed are those which are riders returning from injury. I think Tero is still out with his knee. Up until 2 weeks ago (the last Finnish report in speedway star) his Finland team were still using Rider replacement for him.
  3. Ben Hopwood for Erik Riss and Rider Replacement For Ryan Fisher (foot injury). According to Monarchs website.
  4. That's fair enough. Last weeks Star has it the other way round tho. KL should be on first as it is the original fixture, but I wasn't sure if it had been swopped for SKY. Stranger things have happened. I'll be surprised if the Swindon fixture starts anywhere near 8:00pm by the time Sky have all their add breaks and associated waffle. Even when they hurry through, supposedly, because of dodgy weather it still seems to take best part of two hours.
  5. Double header at Wolves with Kings Lynn on second (according to Speedway Star) so more likely an 8:30 start at the earliest. Tho I have to admit it is unlikely they will be at Scunthorpe. A 2:00 start would have been better, especially since K.L. might have wanted to use Wilko as well.
  6. Thursday's excepted. when he obviously knocks off at 19:30
  7. At Glasgow the rules were adhered to. It was changed by a supplementary Regulation on Wednesday 1st June. Supplementary regulation 2016/2. Ironically this was the Wednesday after the Glasgow fixture, and may well have had something to do with the change
  8. By jumping the start, especially after a warning, the rider is deemed to be "delaying the start" by preventing the race being run in a timely fashion. "delaying the start", "touching the tapes", and a "two minute time exclusion" are all deemed as Starting offences and have the same punishment. i.e. reserve replacement from the gate or 15 metre handicap. It should be pointed out that should the offence occur in heat 15 the nominated rider can now only be replaced by a reserve or starts off 15 metres from the same gate position as the offence occurred (not always from gate 4.)
  9. That's a bit hard on Danny. true he missed the gate in heat 4. but would have possibly got past Payne if he'd made the slightest mistake. He was put into heat 6 against Bellego and Busch who are top the two bears by average, despite Busch riding at two. And in heat 9 it was against Skidmore and Andersen, who both beat at least one of our heat leaders during the meeting. So like for like Etheridge didn't beat him at all, and against Payne it was 1-1. In effect he sacrificed his programmed easier rides for the sake of the team.
  10. Yes but if Vic does score well on Saturday, You can bring in Matej and Ludvig, drop Vic down to reserve then he can have 5 rides if necessary. same applies to Lewis. the problem starts if they BOTH score well on Saturday.
  11. Well with 3 elite league matches and two (apart from this one) premier league fixtures I would guess a quality guest who could do the bizz is hard to come by. Besides Roberts back and he, as well as luddy, Matej, and Vic can get an extra ride.
  12. Steve moves up to number 1 according to the latest greensheet averages effective from Friday,
