Peterborough Panthers 2023

I’ve also defended the club on Facebook fairly regularly but I for one will be one of the first too have a serious dig if they are fielding a heavily under the limit team like it’s now being suggested. Best thing the club could do now if communicate with the fans, surely they can tell that a lot of the supporters are being rubbed up the wrong way -

In all honesty I’d rather the club try someone like kye thomson as I’ve previously mentioned rather than Hans, if kye took some time too get going then least he’s got an excuse unlike Hans, enoughs enough I’m afraid. Surely doesn’t want too damage that club legend status any further after last seasons awful showing -

At the time I was led to believe it was going to be about the new owner but maybe a delay in paperwork going through or something to do with the new site? But as times gone on I find it more and more concerning that we’ve had very very limited news. I’m still hoping for a big big season from panthers but as the season gets closer I fear of another bad one…. Time will tell -

Would like too see Kye Thomson get a team place with a couple of his fellow aussies in the team, think he’d do a decent steady job -

Would take team 2 with Bjerre at 1 -

Take Niels out for Kenny and then the missing number 3, that would be what I would go with, like I’ve said before and others have said, Niels unfortunately is injury prone and whilst I agree he’s good for 10 points a meeting at home, if he is sat on the sidelines it’s a pointless statement. Get Kenny in and could possibly tempt Buzz back at number 3! Another entertaining rider and we need someone too fill in bombers boots -

Harris confirmed at Leicester, and looks like fricke is there too potentially with bewley returning too Bellevue hopefully we can get a proven number 1 and a Peterborough favorite -

Bjerre and Anders Thomson now that would be a good 1 & 5 whichever way round. Sounds very much like good news is around the corner for panthers! Fingers crossed for an announcement soon…. I certainly feel like the new owner could be the man too take panthers forward and listen too the fans more aswell. -

Really can’t work out the obsession with having Niels… yes he’s a solid enough rider but just seems injured far too often these days. Don’t think it’s worth the risk myself -

Douglas too wolves…. if we are gunna have an Aussie in the ranks then Josh Pickering would be my pick cant see it happening though -

Got too be someone like Kenneth Bjerre as number 1 or 5, Niels tends too get injured frequently now. Need basso back, mpt if everything is sorted. Jenkins should get a spot if we can get another good reserve too let him develop further 1. Kenneth Bjerre 2. 3. Mpt 4.basso 5. 6. Hans (at a push but not overly fussed) 7. Jenkins would leave good numbers too fill in the gaps -

That’s from 2009 tho, by that logic Hans would be flying but as it is he was awful this season -

Zager wouldn’t ride for Peterborough, doesn’t like the showground -

I’d take Kenny over Niels all day. Need riders that ride the showground well. Be picking from a pool of riders such as Harris basso mpt kenny douglas pickering maybe tungate -

Hans can only ride small tracks and still lost loads of last season’s average riding at Plymouth, just not good enough anymore -

Whilst I agree it has worked that’s certainly only really for a minority of riders -

I thought that aswell with basso, spoke after and said make sure you sign for next season, he just smiled and laughed, doesn’t seem likely that’ll happen. -

Panthers are terrible bar basso and Harris, Andersen with 3 heat wins at home, dreadful considering he was classed as the king of the showground at one stage by many I’m sure. I think picko is a great rider and exciting too watch, plus 24 heat wins is still pretty decent for someone having his first full season in the prem and at times riding at number 1 -

What I’ve found most shocking is that MPT is 3rd on the list of heat wins at home this season and he’s been out more than he’s been in. Whatever happens next season panthers need a team that can ride the showground well. Harris, basso, Pickering, Douglas. 2 or 3 of those would be my starting point -

I’m glad it’s not just me that’s had enough of ostergaard. Was an okay rider at championship level, yes he did well at the start of last season in the reserve berth but this season he’s been found out and just isn’t good enough I’m afraid. -

Unfortunately I think I’m in dream world when I say this but I’d like Harris basso and Pickering, not fussed about the others, they’ve been crap this season. Jenkins has had a real good go and arguably has thrown his name into the mix. Nicholls has had it this year he’s been terrible so has Hans, and I’m sick of this love affair with ulrich, get him gone don’t need him. Douglas would also be a good shout. And Kenneth Bjerre if he can be tempted back too work with rob Lyon. Who knows I think it’ll be a long winter ahead -

No not at all, just find the entire thing really weird and off. Makes no sense too me, trust me if I knew I’d be saying, not one of these who gets excited about knowing gossip and not sharing it
