Congrats to team GB on getting silver. Woffinden was sheer genius this weekend and Robert Lambert put himself on the road to world ranking status for the future. Really pleased for Russia who now have their first world title in Speedway on shale. Overall a good tournament but I still rate the World Cup higher.

Sweden used to have a limit for the next year which would be the average of the top three from the previous season. Over time the limit got higher and higher and overall made the teams more expensive. our limit is designed to keep costs down...rightly or wrongly

The threat of thunderstorms may have precipitated the production of a very slick track and consequently poor quality racing. When I went to Teterow a number of years back the racing was of good quality. track grading every 4 is fine but why grade after heat 20.... for one heat.... 4. 4. 4. 4. 5 would have been far more sensible. I am sure the two run offs were for the benefit of the Tv to keep the meeting alive

When I went Teterow a few years ago I saw a very entertaining meeting. tonight the racing was poor quality with hardly any GOOD races

Belle Vue select at Plymouth. solved the doubling up with the top two divisions.... once again The NL is treated with contempt it may be regarded as a training/ development league but the fans deserve better with all these missing riders

Excellent racing today. track staff had to work hard to keep the moisture on the track.... watering after every 2 heats did the job although it did slow the meeting down.... but worth it for the entertainment value

Commiserations to Stefan.... what bad luck after being in great form for Scunthorpe and being top scorer twice for Poole whom he had recently signed a 28 day contract. stefan is a gentleman and always a pleasure to speak to
