Good luck with the Pairs on the 31st. Unfortunately , I am in Herenveen for the Ice Speedway that weekend .... otherwise I would be there.
-
Nice to see that Matt Ford has refused to sign a statement releasing Jack Holder for rearranged Polish matches. I hope that does not mean that Jack gets the sack from Poland and the Poles simmer down. It was bad enough them forcing riders to only ride in 3 countries.
-
I am fairly sure that Mark said that he would be using British based riders this year when talking at the NSS last month .
-
On the BSPA Website , the team building average for Dan is 4.00
-
After last year where it took 2 hrs 45 min for 23 races , I am glad Sheffield have lost the PLRC. They dragged it out yet again.

I am personally glad that we have gone back to one day. Weather permitting I will go

Ice Speedway Results 2016-2017
Gunner85 replied to Conkers's topic in International World of Speedway
Berlin starts my season off for 2017. Both good meetings in Berlin with Saturday marginally better overall. Fantastic spectacle watching them on Ice. Two father and sons riding in the Svenssons and the Bauers. -
If Sky have pulled out, the the Bspa would probably not announce until the bt deal is formalised.
-
Hope that Max is riding for us in 2017...... hardly likely to have a 17 plate van with Belle Vue colours if he isn' signing.
-
Peter Craven MT has been added to the fixtures... Sunday 26 March 2017 @ 3 pm Further details to follow

I was told last year that BT were interested in league Speedway. It looks like it's coming sooner than expected. Hopefully BT are paying more than SKY screwed us down to. Personally , I don't have Sky so not bothered.

Heartache for the Coventry fans . Let us hope that it is only a temporary one year departure. Losing Coventry permanently would be a great loss to Speedway

Will Coventry Complete The Season?
Gunner85 replied to Agrotron's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The Coventry fans have had enough heartache this winter without this thread plunging the knife any further. Stox have cancelled the April and May fixtures implying the earliest return is May. Coventry are selling Leicester matches at a very reasonable price to help out th fans. In my opinion these are positive points... and I hope Coventry are back mid May. -
Very positive meeting yesterday. Time to move forward and create a stable long term future
-
This winter has been horrendous for ACES FANS as well as Coventry and Leicester but I remain perfectly confident that we will be racing.... the waiting for the official announcement has been a continual stop/start over the last few eeeks.

Is Tai dropping in for guest appearance? -
Les was a brilliant racer whereas Lawson is no more than a good rider and boring to watch.
-
Very disappointed that George is not involved. Equally if Richie is not in the side , that is equally disappointing as he stood by Belle Vue over the winter.
-
Let us not forget that clubs are expected to sell Cardiff tickets even though they are available on the internet. All clubs get an allocation as far as I know.
-
Has the track been reshaped as suggested by Chris Louis during the winter ?
-
There is no doubt that there is /was a lot of jealousy amongst the BSPA once the stadium was up and running. I was appalled to see that some clubs would not sell British Final tickets. Whatever happened in 2016 ,the Belle Vue promoters did a tremendous job to get the NSS up and running and the NSS is a flagship that shows what Speedway stadiums should be aiming towards.
-
Now Belle Vue Speedway 2017 exists as a Company perhaps announcements will be made soon.

With Craig back in the tam I foresee a good upturn in Workington's fortunes. Apart from his individual performance , I am sure he will upgrade the team spirit. The best part is the side now have 3 Cumbrians in the side.
