Where was the fanfare for the announcement of Lasse's return? Monarch's website says it was released at 7am this morning. Did the fans not want him back?

Jacob Hook doing well in Aus, 3rd in North Brisbane Solo's today, beat Adam Ellis in his semi-final: https://fb.watch/htulA7HYoU/ Jacob scored 11 in qualifying heats, Kye scored 10 Meeting won by Ryan Douglas, Nick Morris was unbeaten in qualifying heats but last in final.

Underwhelming signing, Complin's comeback has been disappointing so far. The 4 point average is assessed, he actually averaged only 3.09 (3.47 inc bonus pts) over 11 championship meetings. Even the promo video is about past glories, I remember him being good with Sheffield, Stoke and Berwick but that was 10-20 years ago. However given the weakness of the Championship reserves due to the 40 point limit I'm sure he'll do well at home. His lack of gating ability might be a problem on the road.

Has Birmingham got a sponsors license now?

Despite it being a long way away easy enough to get to from Glasgow M6 J7 and it's almost a straight road down A34 to the track. Plenty of space in stadium car park, granted there's a charge but there is at most tracks. Viewing on the home straight ain't great but I watched from a raised platform on the first bend this year and had a good view. Equality of racing this year had certainly improved from my previous visits

Think Paco started the 2022 season third in the averages. I'm sure Kye will do a good job in 2023, certainly not going to challenged for 3rd heatleader

Touché Beaten by Simon Lambert and a heavy track, as I recall

Think it did need major surgery, your talking about a team that's built to almost half a point under the points limit and includes to returning assessed 4 point riders who failed to reach that average in 2022. There's loads of 4-5 point riders without a team. No idea why you'd want Paco Castagna back, signed to be your third heat leader and ended with a 4.93 rolling average. Like someone said, seemed to wait until heat 14 before performing. Lasse Fredricksen averaged 3.50 in 2022, although he was riding at No2. Jacob Hook averaged 2.78 at reserve, although he did show in flashes there was potential, so I can see why you would bring him back No interest in bringing Drew Kemp back? Looks like no one wants him.

And they'll still be rubbish on the road.
-
Why would you take Complin when you have 5pts available? When you could have Vissing or even Rew.
-
Tate Zischke finished 3rd in 1st round of Aussie Championship today behind Fricke & Sedgmen https://speedwaynews.pl/zuzel/fricke-broni-mistrzostwo-kapitalna-forma-zuzlowca/ Far better use of 4 points that Lee Complin; if he's willing to come to the UK
-
Claus + 4pt Aussie - u21 runner up Tate Zischke possibly

When he rode for Oxford v Glasgow in the Championship he looked totally out of his depth. Zero from 4, well off the pace, only completed 2 races. There's a big gap between NDL & Championship standard

I had thought that the change in point structure would adversely effect us but this season we would have still finished second, a lot closer to Leicester than the current scoring system. Scoring 40 odd points on the road meant we would have picked up plenty of bonus point but faltering in heats 13 & 15 meant we didn't pick up the away wins that got 3/4 points.

Working for Allied Vehicles in between his speedway commitments like others previously? Note they also have a base in Coventry.

You are right, I was just going on the Theo being touted as an option and Connor having the same final average, should have checked the maths. Having checked the maths, think it's just 4.01 but that all depends on how the BSPL do their roundings . So assuming it's Harris plus two 5 point riders it has to be a 4 point assessed rider.
-
Well he had made that decision before he was notified.
-
Assuming your right, if it's not a new 4 point rider then the best option in my opinion would be Connor Bailey. Believe he fits with the 2.5% average reductions but he wants to ride else where next year.
-
So Glasgow could meet Rew's requirements.
-
Does that mean Edinburgh tried and failed?
-
Hope you are right, fear you are wrong
-
Don't think we can fit Basso, Harris and Brennan into a 40 point team unless they go very weak at reserves. Think Tom will be elsewhere
-
Funny how 3 clubs dictate to the majority and change the pre AGM agreed 2 home and away fixtures. Which 3? Must have been at least 1 with some clout.
-
Think they've edited original statement and added more info

Ah, I see it's on Twitter but missed out of the statement on British Speedway website
