Leicester vs Scunthorpe 02/04/2022 Championship
Tosh1218 replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
He hates Leicesters track ,Jordan will be fine -
Don’t think he’ll take a pay cut ,rumour last season 2 k a meeting at Scunny
-
Surely a short term signing will help the Brummies to commence there fixtures before the European leagues start
-
What job does Kennett do anyone ?
-
Track Looks good , as for the team we will soon know as the Brummies have a fixture in 30 days
-
With the length of time waiting for riders I can only assume that Birmingham are awaiting work visa’s for riders
-
I used to think that but the season he had with Scunthorpe a couple of years changed my mind , he was a credit on and off the track

Tai Woffinden is there aswell so I’m sure Jordan will learn a lot off him -
Everyone slating Proctor about last season and poor maintenance of his gear ?? If I’m right he was working full time for Amazon or another retailer and doing speedway. , so this season he will definitely up his average at Berwick
-
Who would you have had as the last signing then ?? I know Jorgensen was linked but didn’t want the championship this year let’s see mid season when he can up his wage demands and get a team spot
-
Nothing to do with Hans Anderson been available at the right time before The twins upped there averages then ?
-
I’m sure Proctor will do a job for you , It doesn’t help with you been a Saturday track I think it restricts a few riders who ride on the continent on a Sunday . Ty was a victim of Hans Andersons average fitting at the wrong time for him last season . So here’s hoping that teams stay as injury free as possible in 2022 and there some great racing for all us genuine speedway fans

Oxford have joined the league and have been allocated a Wednesday evening this is due to other sides riding on a Friday , this isn’t a dig at Oxford speedway it’s due to a shortage of riders when the season starts and riders are missing due to injuries and riders having other commitments abroad . The back end of last season there was a serious shortage of riders for guest spots late in season due to this problem .Also it stops the dreaded R/R situation for clubs
-
I remember it well ,when they wished we crash our car on the way home .Absolute oxygen thieves the full crowd of them and it wasn’t our fault Riss missed the meeting and had to be replaced by a young 2 pointer
-
Why is it the Scunthorpe promoter is getting the blame for a Wednesday night for Racing , I’m sure due to the dog racing for the Betting Shops there isn’t a lot of choice of days when the speedway can race . I know Rob Godfrey gets a bad press but surely he alone can’t say when a side rides there home fixtures

I’m sure Oxford wanted him as a Rider but ended up been a team manager

A full season in the championship Jordan Palin 5.70 Scunthorpe DrewKemp. 3.67 Eastbourne/Edinburgh in real times Kemp should have a higher average to be fair as both Eastbourne/Edinburgh are technical tracks but I think due to Jordan spending a full season at Peterborough around some seasoned pro’s in the Top league makes him the better rider -

Palin is better -
I think Glasgow will be as there assured to run in 2023 season , they own there own stadium
-
Poole would have been a cracking side with Basso in the 7 riders so Glasgow pulled one Over the Pirates about time it happened to them
