Don’t quote expenses to me ,earlier in the season August to be precise I travelled to Oxford by myself on the Wednesday meeting called off after watching tractor racing on the track for an hour . Hotel and diesel expenses , the following day travelled Oxford to Leicester meeting called off after 6 pm again hotel and diesel expenses needed . Following day Leicester to Scunthorpe called off on the Friday diesel and Humber bridge tolls to my home in Hull 3 days travel and only watched Oxfords tractor on the shale and approx 405 miles on the vans mileage

Amazing when the TV cameras are in town the weather doesn’t cause an abandonment of the meeting . Too many meetings called off during the season too early and October used to be for Testimonial matches back in the day . As for the winners Sheffield well done on your victory tonight well deserved really thought 18 pts was big enough for them to defend . The one rider who is always worth the entrance money is Josh Pickering he is a class act on any track and pleased for Simon Stead aswell

I take it Scunthorpe have’nt got a match this week as I can’t see a preview on Scorpions or the Bears website

I’m sure I’ve read the dates are set in stone and if the home team can’t race by the deadline date the away team receive the points -

I’m a Scunny fan and by far he’s the most impressive rider at the Eddie Wright Raceway he’s a class act on and off the track -

I think they did that they were very poor with the exception of Josh Pickering -
I think a lot of Poole fans were expecting a big win , but fair play to the Scunny 7 riders for getting a draw away from home . But big credit to Rob Godfrey Scunthorpe promoter who has taken a massive gamble by agreeing to Poole away and Edinburgh away before a home tie in the playoffs . So a win away at Edinburgh tomorrow would be very nice before racing 2 matches at home . Good luck to the Scorpions and hope King Ryan stays injury free
