We always stay in Ljublijana and drive to Krsko. Done it 4 times now. The roads are good, motorway about half the way then single carriagway. Takes about an hour and a half, great views.
Depends if you only want to go from Manchester or are willing to travel a bit. From Manchester cheapest is BMI Baby but nothing from Manchester is particulary cheap. Also Czech Airlines but they have gone pretty expensive now. Others to look at are Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford. Thomson from Sheffield. BMI Baby and Easyjet from Nottingham East Midlands and I find the cheapest Easyjet from Stansted or Luton.
You can buy tickets from the stadium but we just find it easiest to buy them online, you can print them yourselves on your printer then they just scan the barcode.
It's the risk you take, if the flight is not full then, then the prices will drop nearer to departure, but prices will rise the more people book and will stay high if the flight is nearly full. Personally that sounds like a good price and I would book it now.
For someone going to their first GP abroad, Prague is definatly the easiest and cheapest. Lots of cheap airlines flying there, lots of hotels, very good public transport easy to get around. Very cheap food and drink.
Jet2 are quite big up here, they only fly from the North. Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Newcastle and Edinburgh. We've used them to fly to Amsterdam from Manchester.
Lonigo is closest to Verona but Venice is not too far away either. Ryanair fly to both.
We have just booked to go from Stansted to Venice Treviso for £55 each. We hire a car spend Friday in Venice then drive over to Verona which is our base for a couple of days.
Spoke to people who drove from Riga to Daugavpils and they said it was a terrible road. Getting the train is probably easier.
We always fly to Ljubijana for Slovenia then drive to Krsko.
Why start a new topic?
Seeing as all the dates apart from Germany say confirmed. All of them are accessible apart from Latvia which is quite hard to get to apparently.
Looks like we will have bad seats then, train doesn't get into Bydgoszcz from Gdansk till 14:55.
Anyone got a map how to get to the stadium easily from the old square?
We are staying at Hotel Ratuszowy on Dluga, is that walking distance from the station?
Also how do we get to the track, is there a tram/bus or do we have to get a taxi?
Can someone give me detailed instructions how to get from Gdansk Airport to Bydgoszcz by train and back again please. What we need to ask for and look out for etc.
Lindback was fed the dummy, and fell for it. Hancock rode round the outside for 3 laps, Lindback then went wide to cover it and Hancock dived up the inside, great move.
Lindback should of never moved off the white line and should of been an easy win with the big advantage gate 1 gave.
