There was heavy shower at 11.00 for 20 minutes, now blading track (something Ipswich can’t do). Big piles of sludge up by fence but underneath doesn’t look too bad but won’t be perfect.

This is how Bewley got track record on a wet August bank holiday, but will mean poor racing.

Really this early meeting should have been called off, if they do some wonders the track is still going to be very wet with limited time to delay due to Sheffield this evening. But they didn’t want to call it as they will be forced to run it on a Tuesday/Wednesday (if they can?) due to no available Monday/Thursday despite us not having a home meeting for weeks and such short fixture list.

With Fricke average dropping for September, clear Sheffield will be using him every meeting in playoffs.

Sheffield booked at number 1, Ben Cook at Belle Vue and Max Fricke at Sheffield.

At moment scheduled to start 14 September. Each Monday/Thursday for 3 weeks

They not a subscription channel that’s how they make their money from adverts, and that’s why all they will be bothered about it how many were watching and therefore watching those adverts.

Assuming that Bewley is going to be fit with Lambert. Who takes the other GB spots? Is Wright in now with his British Final performance? Brennan been poor this year.

Probably similar to last years Monday but worst then other years. Saw more fans from other tracks like Redcar etc this year probably being a Saturday, but was lot less Belle Vue fans, just in the small area I stand in could name 30 or so regulars that weren’t there. Mainly probably because of no Bewley and then being on ITV topped it off.

Catchup is now available on ITVX app. If everyone could watch at least few minutes on that, as the viewing figures are more viewable for ITV. They won’t really know who was watching on freeview etc last night.

It was a BVTV production for ITV. Can’t see it on ITVX yet to catchup, will check again tomorrow.

Was obvious Lambert was always going to win it, pity he didn’t have to work for it from behind.

Who ever gets the wild card will be embarrassing in the GP. Would rather they gave it to someone who doesn’t qualify this year like Jason Doyle etc .

Unless ITV advertise it (unlikely) it's mainly going to be speedway fans, not many people will be casually browsing ITV4 on Saturday evening.

It’s not a Belle Vue event. Ticket sales are currently very poor and they not going to sell many more now it’s on free tv.

So McDiarmid never ridden the track before but scored better then 6 of the Leicester riders.

Morris just wiped out Zischke at Workington, Zischke gone in ambulance, I’d guess at broken collarbone.
