Not really, not been any official photos for weeks. The person who did the drone video a few weeks ago, posted in here, is hoping to do it again in the next week to see progress. -
Nothing official, but few of us going.

The onsite car park is quite small and limited, parking only allowed there if you buy a parking ticket for the season. I'm sure the GRA will be charging to use their car park, a deal has been done with Showcase cinema apparently, I expect more details to be released soon. -

No that wouldn't have been possible as you have to remember at the 3rd and 4th bend end they are erecting a 4000 seat temporary grandstand for World Cup. That artist impression is quite out of date now, plans changed, there are architect diagrams on Manchester council planning but again they are couple of years out of date. Pits are on 1st bend similar position to Coventry at end of grandstand. -

The one on BV website not correct now, no terracing on bend 1 & 2 full stop (apart from a small section on bend 1 for riders and mechanics etc), there is terracing on bend 3 and 4 for league meetings but not for world cup as temporary grandstand will be there. -
If they wanted it in Germany there are far better tracks/stadiums
-
Does seem a bizarre choice
-
Which stadium?

If you pause the video at 2:16 you can see the bends are not sharp at all. They are long sweeping bends with short-ish straights (infact the staights are not straight they have a kink in them). Peterborough is a similar comparision but Belle Vue will be longer at 350m and what you can't see on that video though is the banking, the banking is very steep the maximum allowed, but it is not at constant angle, the angle of banking changes across the bend set by a computerised blade to give lots of racing lines.

Back on topic, drone footage taken today : https://youtu.be/JWF2o2j4O6s

I gather it will be in Poland just waiting for track to be confirmed.
-
This is no different to every other track. Depends what the rain off policy is this year, if I remember right last year it was the next 4 meetings and the rescheduled meeting.
-
You can't pay on the gate as such, the turnstiles are fully automatic with bar code scanners. You can buy tickets on the day (or any day) from the ticket office for no fee. In the near future when the system is fully up and running you will be able to print ticket at home too or just have it on a smart phone. If a meeting is rained off, the barcode on the ticket will be reactivated.

Periscope. A Promoters Nightmare App.
Rob B replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Ice Hockey released the statement above about periscope but they are far ahead of speedway in that most teams already do a professional stream and charge between £5-10 to watch it. They been doing it few years and don't think it effects attendance much. The same footage is then used in a one hour highlights programme each week on premier sports. Clean Cut sports stream Coventry ice hockey and also record Coventry speedway and few others but not allowed to stream due to Go Speed. -
Just quoting what WSL have said. I agree that should be neutral but support will be an issue, like I said previously if it was at KIngs Lynn can't see many neutrals over here going to watch it.
-
Yep you were right, can only think bank holidays Monday's are classed as weekends?
-
Got to be neutral venue
-
Kings Lynn riding that night at Leicester though and can't see many neutrals over here going
-
Any news on a venue yet?
-
Can't see it happening as like I said when they got the planning permission Monday's weren't included, plus it is stock cars next door on bank holidays so would be chaos.
-
Mostly Friday's with Colts NL meetings on GP Friday's. Won't be any Monday's as we only have planning permission for Wednesday's, Friday's, Saturday's.
