I hear what you say about the 'lies' and I certainly agree, but, not making any excuses for him, if it's a lie based on the 'club' itself then that makes the whole 'promotion' guilty for allowing the lies ? However, I can't criticise David/Peter for giving us speedway and throwing their own money in to our club....they would definitely benefit from a new manager. Someone who can read the meeting better....use reserve rides and T/S better.....every week 'we' miss opportunities (imo)

I can definitely see why ? if we can give him a decent surface to ride on, I hope that will minimize his risk ?

You missed a reasonable meeting 'Col'....but an even better 'one man show' from Garrity! 'GA'....try and get Jason Garrity on your show...would love to hear his thoughts? if it's anywhere near as entertaining as his riding, it would be a great listen ?

Not only that 'Sings' but we lost our PR man Lee Kilby to Swindon!? I admire David/Peter for sticking at it.... No disrespect to 'Rogers', but I think we'd also benefit/progress from a new manager....may be a well respected ex-rider of sorts ? I think Laurence's strength lies in the development League. He's out his depth in the Championship imo!

Conditions/racing was a lot better than last week! I believe there's some 'new' material on its way and it might be in place for the next home meeting? Fair play to the promotion for doing that for us....... Well, our season might be 'frittering' out as H Gould puts it? but if Jason Garrity rides like that for our remaining 4 Home fixtures, then ALL fans will be in for a treat! That boy can ride a bike ! He's 'fearless' ! Best 'thing' I've seen at PB in years! Can't wait to see him in our colours again in 2 weeks! He was that exciting, the match result didn't bother me at all......it was GREAT to see him slaughter Schlein/Harris in Heat 15 and his enthusiasm and celebration was better than some of the racing itself! He even clocked the fastest time of the night in as late as Heat 12 !!! He just got faster the more he rode! As for the meeting in general....we ran Somerset a lot closer than I thought we would, although we never looked like winning. Not wanting to sound too critical, but the manager isn't as tactically astute as I think he could/should be....just my opinion??? The ref let at least 2 start moves go.......Covatti heat 7 which resulted in a Somerset 5-1 (not that it wouldve been any different, if he hadnt moved) and then Garrity moved in Heat 9..... Praise to Steve Worrall for his efforts.....he'd of scored more had Agertoft not got in his way in Heat 6. Agertoft still way out his depth and Arnio is just about quicker than the opposing reserves..... Can't criticise Wallinger as its not his fault that he's been signed.....but the sooner they give his place to a more worthy 'youngster' the better!

Covatti and Harris alone, will be good enough for a Somerset win. Schlein always goes well at PB too : (

Your straight talking makes me smile 'Ptbab' ! : )))))) I get carried away myself at times and have to 'edit' my posts once I've calmed down : ) I applaud the Masons for giving us racing, but I do think they might need to employ someone else to select/sign riders ? It's difficult to judge I guess, when we don't know who's available and what budget's available ? but surely Hume/Stoneman would be better to have over Agertoft/Wallinger and I can't imagine they'd cost any more ? It's like one step forward, 2 steps back with every signing we're making lately?

I can understand why Sidney uses the term 'makeshift' ? 1 guest, 2 new signings(1 which is extremely under-whelming), 1 rider not ready for Championship level, 1 rider returning from injury (whom was below average before injury imo...) which leaves just Paco and Shanesy?

Danyon is a 'fans' favourite, a real people's person.....he has bags and bags of potential....I don't think a reserve berth in the Championship suits his 'concentration' level, if that makes sense? What I mean is....he needs to have more rides, with less gaps, for him to progress/get the best out of him? Because of his 'all-out' riding style....he makes a few errors, ends up falling off, which in turn scuppers/shortens his race-night..... He might be a rider that succumbs to the 'what could've been' pile? I sincerely hope not, as I love the guy on/off the track!

Local Radio saying that we're using R/R for Ellis tonight ??? Hope this is incorrect and Worrall is still appearing??? Track really needs to be carved up and some grip created after last week's debacle...... especially after the signing of Garrity . Although, Harris will revel with some outside lines......really looking forward to watching Chris back at PB..... If the surface is race-able, we're in for one hell of match ! Hope Covatti's slowed down a bit after his injury : ) nobody got near him earlier in the season!

Just hope he uses the reserve ride astutely....this card is played incorrectly by many teams....imo

Have to take your hat off to Peter/David (Mason) for at least trying to give 'us' an entertaining team....they could easily have carried on with R/R for Morris. I admire their dedication and commitment to the cause.
