Winning isn't the issue for me....B'ham haven't won anything of note since 1974.....its all about value for money and enjoying the entertainment at hand.....I'm not saying that its just B'ham's product.....I watched KL v Oxford the other night and that was a yawn fest too......so really, it's speedway in the UK as a product...may be its my age!?

I used to think that way....but after 4/5 seasons of 'cr#p', personally, I wouldn't miss not having speedway at PB anymore!

Would've thought that Dan Thompson/Zack Cook/Anders Rowe are all better options than Kerr....look at Kings Lynn...they call on Tom Brennan, a rider that's better than the one he's replacing! Can understand a weaker/cheaper rider when away from home, but got to try and be as competitive as possible at home!

I have a feeling that Kemp and Gilkes will outscore Kerr!

So, as pointed out by a few 'posters' that know a thing or two about speedway.... Are B'ham gong to make an obvious change at reserve and bring in Kerr/Sedgemen for VUOLAS ? Need to show some intention if they want the fans to attend! (p.s apart from the obvious work needed on the track...think that ship's sailed...) can only assume that as its the last season, then no expense will be spent on the track's surface?

Not sure what the fuss is about where any young Brit rides....we need to support them wherever they go.... Its an expensive game and locality of a rider makes a difference when seeking sponsors etc Good luck to Jenkins, be great if he can make it....

Its going to be a struggle to entice 'spectators' on that surface!? I asked the question before the season started....'has the track been well prepared after last seasons yawn fest'? I was assured that there had been loads of work done....what I wasn't told was that the work was done by Stevie Wonder!? Who's going to pay £24 to watch a pile of..... The only positive was that the poor surface levelled the meeting! There's no way Thompson/Jenkins would've out scored Doyle/Sayfutinov on a 'proper' race track! Glad the ref got the BIG call right when Brennan went down....would've been easy to exclude Jeppesen. Fair play to Seth Perkins! P.S liking what I see with Jeppesen....surprise package so far!
