Berwick v Redcar Saturday 14/05/22 7pm
Coraldon replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
After last nights lesson at the STeMP, by POOLE the Bears will have to be given lessons on how to gate first, they were beaten out of the gates in 11 of the heats, also hope that Eric somehow gets more power into his engine, because he definitely was off the pace last night. I wont mention that the number two position is the weakest link in the team. there I didnt mention it!!!!!. I will go for the win for the bears, 42- 48. all riders stay safe. -

Update on tonights weather for any travelling fans, forecasted to be cloudy, no rain, but a cold north easterly wind.
-
How will Lions react to the mauling they received down at Plymouth, Bears top three have started the season very well, just need the second strings to up their game and we should secure the 3 points to go top of league. I will stick my neck out and predict a 49-41 win, but I know I am not another Nostradamus.

Weather update, it has been dry since this mornings forecast, but very cold wind should dry any problems out, if coming up bring your thermals, but us hardy types like Halifaxtiger will be in our shorts and string vests.!!!!!!

For those Fans who maybe coming up from the dark south, the weather at present is that it has rained quite heavily for a day or so, light drizzle at present, but local forecast says a much drier day tomorrow, so fingers crossed meeting goes ahead.

Depends on where you stand, anywhere near the Bar is asking for abuse from the "supporters" there, notice the word used was not Fans.

AS in all sports nowadays, it is the 1% that are spoiling it for the large majority, it is the way of the world now, no respect, discipline or consideration for others, I know it is happening at all sports arenas including The STeMP.

He may as well come to the proper Gods Country, leave the train at Middlesbrough and get bus from there to cargo Fleet and walk the few yards to see a fair race track!!!!!!!!!!lol

Us quiet Bears supporters are just surfing all the messages from other teams, then when the season starts, we will be happy to have a speedway team to entertain us. Strong top 5 but I have always said reserves win matches, and ours are not the strongest pairing, but we will enjoy what we have. I hope its a good safe season for all those who take part.

glad you are running for this year at least, hope to make at least one long weekend of it down there
-
The delay in Poole naming their team, may mean they are picking up the remainder available, OR maybe a rule change that will allow riders from senior leagues in Poland, Sweden, and Denmark to ride over here???????
-
Thanks, you sounded slightly despondent, but your keeping the fans updated is what is needed, hope to see you sometime this year.

http://I have just been looking at the changes on Facebook, looks very interesting and made for multiple more racing lines, well done to all who have worked on it.

As a Redcar fan. I hope Newcastle do not finish bottom of the league, we need Northern teams to be up where we belong, at the top.

Sorry, My man flu is taking over. meant Eastbourne
-
Oh well!, thanks for the bad news, looks like separate journies, to Kent, Bournemouth, and Poole.
-
Probably been asked before, but what will the race night be for Pirates, as I hope it will be a long weekend down south against Bournemouth as well. Thanks
