  1. LEICESTER OFF. AMBULANCE BROKE DOWN going to the meeting! Oh my, Carry on up the Godfrey! Restaging tomorrow 4pm
  2. Or just pick a name out of the hat and say here u go u've won the league! At least it wud put an end to this carry on!
  3. Tiz the season to get silly tra la la la laaaa.....
  4. Whoops, sorry my mistake Just looked at the scorecard, still 5 wins on the bounce is not to be over looked!
  5. Is it correct that Lambert as definitely been picked alongside Woffinden for the SON as per the rumour mill? With Bewley firing in another maximum last night around the NSS a rethink may be needed? Any news on the Under 21 rider?
  6. Cool, Great, nice to be able to help each other. Thank you
  7. Hope @spiegal @CatAndy are able to allow someone else to go. You may wish to post ur message on the 'SON 4pm start time both days' topic page as well.
  8. Can't wait to see Bomber showin everyone that cometh the hour cometh the man! He certainly puts his butt on the line when it comes to riding at club level, his pass on Doyley at Wimborne Rd in 2018 was off the charts. Aces av got a lot to do to overcome the Panthers and while the Aces for me av the more 'attractive' team it's the Panthers that I see just edging this Final. Key position of course is Panthers no.6, Andersen Bomber & now Pedersen. Hard to keep quiet 14 times!
  9. Well the Premiership doesn't require fixed race nights anymore so it's anyone's guess.
  10. You can't use TS in play offs same as the cup.
  11. It is disappointing that neither Robert or Tai ride ere but it's no different to why the other top riders don't ride here. I agree with ur reasoning. If and when Swindon come back I wonder if Doyle will still show his loyalty to Swindon & British speedway & return. But once again u can't blame him if he didn't.
  12. True, plus Lambert as won the SEC. Lambert/Bewley is a difficult one but I would've thought Bewley & Woffinden riding together at Wroclaw & Bewley"s NSS form would've swung it his way. Can you tell I'm a Bewley fan! But I'm backing the Brits all the way, Woffinden & Lambert will kick ass! Who is the under 21?
  13. At this rate the season will be extended into November ! So Stefan will be ok for then!
  14. Exactly, can't chat about love Island now! Bugga! As far as social media goes this forum is as far ase it goes for me. I value my sanity!
  15. Surprised at Lambert getting the nod over Bewley. In fact I'm 'Bew'ildered! It cud only av been Lambert's performances at Torun SGP x2, his home track, which swung it his way I guess? But in the SON there shouldn't be an Under 21 compulsory pick. In the SWC yes because there are 5 riders instead of 3. That's a point, who as been picked as the Under 21?
  16. I think it does everyone's head in when cut-off dates are not adhered to,well the initial one anyway. Hopefully the BSPA , or wotever they are known as these dayz, should make club's and themselves realise that the Finals are held in September and cut-off dates are not to be extended. It's now Oct 6th & we Pirates don't know where don't know when..... P.s I refer to the BSPA as BS & we all know wot that stands for!
  17. I've got a simple solution..... Just give the trophies to us Pirates! Save all the messing about! .
  18. How come there isn't an official date for the 2nd leg yet, rearranged Edinburgh v Redcar. Or are we to assume it's Fri 8th? Mind u of which month is debatable!
  19. Josh Pickering is a class act. Watched him at Leicester this season and he just blew me away with his style and determination. Great rider to watch
  20. Hey Steve, Poole win everything all of the time that's why I chose to support them remember!
  21. Yes that is true but what is the point of having a rider who will be odds on to finish in the bottom 3 of the series as a wild card pick. He won a GP but he is a one hit wonder. Latvian rider Andzejs Lebedevs would be a far better option than Smolinski.
  22. Extremely daft when there are only 3 riders. The Under 21 rule in the SON only really benefits one country.....Poland! The SWC is due to return every 3 years and would make more sense having an Under 21 in that as the teams will have 5 riders.
  23. GOLD is all he strives for & until he achieves that or reaches 99 years old he won't step aside at all. I understand wot ur sayin about being involved if not riding but u wud expect that of any team GB squad rider, for example if Lambert isn't picked. But u seem to be overlooking all the guidance he's already given to British youngsters away the team GB set up. He gives his spare time up when over ere for the winter or visiting family. Look wot he as done for Dan Bewley in Wroclaw. He's shared mechanics, guidance & machinery. The GB set up wudn't be wot it is now without Tai being about. Never mind wot Rosco says coz he didn't want the set up that Tai wanted. Trust me there's no one more committed to the cause than Tai Woffinden. True Grit True Brit
  24. For the future? Tai is only 31 and just signed a new 3 year deal with Wroclaw hardly over the hill. Who else better to learn from when riding alongside in a major international tournament?
