What a way to start the day of a meeting........time for a flat white at my local Costa and a copy of the latest speedway star to read. And I'm going to win the sweepstake tonight as an added bonus to the usual amazing evenings down at WINborne Road! Plymouth can be a pesky team to overcome at times. Now that they av both the Thompson Twins makes them peskier than ever. Dan is impressing this season with some eye catching performances in both the top 2 leagues while Joe is adding in the occasional good score, will he haunt us on his return? Nah, Sam Hagon got the better of him at the Pidcock Arena recently and I expect much of the same this evening Meanwhile all the Pirates came through unscathed from the Thursday Prem meetings with Aces Ben 5+2(5), Lions Lawson 9+1(5) Hagon 4+1(4) and Brennan guesting for Witches with 13(6). Good warm up for the lads with some impressive displays, nice to see Sam doing well on his Lions debut. Bring it On

Looking forward to another speedway night at WINborne Road and getting behind the Pirates I see nothing else than a Pirates win and aggregate win to advance to the semi's. The Gladiators can be difficult to shake off though but the boys are more on it from the start at home at the moment which is what we will need. C'mon the Boyzzzz NID

There is a commer after his dad to separate Martin Dugard from that relationship. I do realise that Martin Dugard is his uncle. Lisa it would be more appropriate of you to comment on my post as a whole rather than one possible grammar error. Lisa is the forum English teacher (said tongue in cheek) -

Early one morning after we sent out a Pirates warning! Soon be flat white time at Costa, will be at the Costa next to Poole train station soon before setting sail. Thoroughly enjoyed last night and I'd like to say what a top professional Sam Hagon is. He's certainly being shown on and off the track the right way to go about his racing career. His dad, Martin Dugard and family certainly showing him how to engage with the fans. After the press conference he was signing photos that he'd had printed for fans, nice touch. Very thoughtful and professional Sam. It's not all about what you do on the track. Top marks -

Tom Brennan and Richard Lawson were out on track after the meeting helping Max with his gating. Getting one to one tuition, or in this case two to one, is far better for his confidence. -
